Fresh wheat germ should be
placed in the refrigerator as soon as you buy it, whereas toasted wheat germ only needs refrigerating once it's been opened.
For example, parents could make sure a vegetable tray with dip is sitting on the counter when teens come home from school, or they could have a grab - and - go vegetable
conspicuously placed in the refrigerator.
Run the blender again for about a minute and then pour the mixture into a bowl, cover, and allow to cool before
placing in the refrigerator until cold, at least 2 hours or overnight.
Alternatively you can gently heat the chia and juice until the chia seeds become gelatinous and begin to thicken the juice; at which point you would remove from the heat and cool to room temperature
before placing in the refrigerator to fully cool.
Reduce heat and simmer for about five minutes, then cool completely (
place in the refrigerator if necessary — the filling should not be too runny.)
