Can I use one of these in
place of the flour blend?
At the end I give some suggested grains to use if you want to substitute in
place of my flour blend.

This sponge cake is made with almond

place of a standard gluten free rice
flour blend, but it's still light and tender and just rich enough.

If you'd prefer these to be gluten free, simply substitute your favorite gluten free

We use bread made with a
blend of tapioca and sorghum
flours and do fine with it, but I do not know if a sorghum syrup would be OK to use in
place of honey or corn syrup in recipes.
It does add a subtle vanilla essence that's not present in the original recipe — so it you want it to taste more «authentic» you can use an unflavored protein powder like The Protein Chef Baking Protein by Labrada Nutrition, or just use three - quarter cup all - purpose
flour, oat
flour, spelt
flour, or gluten - free baking
blend in
place of the protein (you can also use half a cup
of the aforementioned
flours in
place of the coconut
flour).
If you regularly bake with gluten free
flour blends and are happy with the results I would think that using that in
place of the
flour might work, but again I can not say for sure.
