I use buttercup squash in
place of pumpkin as I always have some cooked on hand.

Here's what I changed: I used a 15 - oz can
of pumpkin (not pie filling — just
pumpkin puree) in
place of the bananas; I swapped out the spices for about 1 tsp each
of cinnamon and ginger, and mixed those in with the
pumpkin first; I opted for the larger volume
of maple syrup from the original recipe,
as the
pumpkin wouldn't contribute sweetness the way the bananas do; I baked the batter
as a dozen standard muffins, which took about 20 minutes at 350.
In case your pantry is
as poorly stocked
as mine & you are wondering: I used just one can
of beans (used slightly more
pumpkin to make up lost volume), rice wine vinegar in
place of sherry vinegar, white wine in
place of dry sherry, no ham, no shallot (extra onion added), and tomato sauce instead
of canned whole!
I pureed baked butternut squash in
place of the
pumpkin otherwise I followed the recipe
as written.
I actually use pureed squash a lot
of the time in
place of pumpkin in all
of my
pumpkin recipes: I think it tastes better than
pumpkin and I like the consistency better, it isn't
as thick.
If it's
as absorbent
as coconut flour, then you'll need about 1/2 cup
of pumpkin purée in
place of the almond milk.
Try to leave
as much
of the stringy
pumpkin flesh aside and
place the seeds in a large bowl.
I have some raw sprouted
pumpkin seed butter in the fridge that would be perfect for making these, however I don't do well with rolled grains
as I prefer being able to soak my grains first and then make them into homemade flours in my ever - so - well - used Vita - mix — what could I used in
place of the rolled oats in this recipe (it sounds way to lovely to pass up making so I'm hoping you have a suggestion!)?

place he could «run, jump and have fun at», he was all smiles and super intrigued.
I switched out a small telescope for a tall, large clear vase with lovely faux maple tree branches with realistic fall leaves and one with acorns... looks so sculptural on a sofa table... I
placed a string
of amber fairy lights (on a battery timer) in the base
of the vase... so pretty and cozy looking at night
as it illuminates the vase and the wall behind the arrangement and
placed a fall twig berry swag along my mantle and nestled 3 ceramic
pumpkins amongst it.
