Walnuts or pecans work well in
place of the almonds here.

Paleo friends simply use in your fave
almond (or nut butter
of choice) in
place of the PB and any
of you folks with nut allergies you can easily make them nut free — sunbutter (or your fave nut free spread) would work perfectly
here too!
To serve,
place 5 patties on a plate and garnish with extra herbs, salad greens, or unsweetened coconut yoghurt and a sprinkle
of almond dukkah (see recipe
here).

Almond Cream Yield: Approx 16 croquettes For the Croquettes 1 cup dry quinoa, cooked in 2 cups water, yielding 3 cups cooked quinoa, cooled - see method

of one lime 1 tsp celtic sea salt Method In large mixing bowl
place cooked quinoa & mashed sweet potato.
Just use additional oats in
place of the
almonds and either white or Bob's Red Mill 1 - to - 1 Baking Flour (cheaper
here) in
place of the
almond flour.
Then I make a dairy - free «cream»
of sorts modified from this recipe: http://healingnaturallybybee.com/fake-cream/. I modify it by not always adding the stevia, using hot
almond milk in
place of the water and only using egg yolks (my preference as I don't digest whites as well and I find when this recipe is warmed or cooked I can taste the egg white - but I am a super taster so each to their own
here).
You could definitely sub in your favorite nut or seed butter in
place of the
almond butter, but regular butter won't work
here.
