I love using cashew flour since I have a mild allergy / sensitivity to almonds, but almond flour could also be used in
place of the cashew flour -LRB-:

I made a loose variation on these (subbing beet pulp and almond
flour for the millet) and I used
cashew cream in
place of the ricotta & three flax eggs to make them vegan > not as perfect as the original, but turned out pretty well.
We have also been enjoying the broccoli soup though I used ground
cashews in
place of the almond
flour.

I use a little less
flour than the original recipe calls for; for the benefit
of the vegans in my family I use a chia - seed - water combo to replace the egg, and almond or
cashew milk in
place of the egg wash.
I used sunflower seed
flour in
place of almond
flour (it's a 1:1 sub) in my lemon bars for you and experimented with sunflower butter in
place of almond or
cashew butter in my «peanut butter» cookies.
I'd maybe try
cashew flour in the
place of almond
flour.
