I was just wondering what I could use in
place of the flax seed (I love flax but am highly allergic).
I used Ener G egg replacer in
place of flax seed and it worked perfectly.
Note that the above picture pie is made with chia seeds in
place of flax seeds.

Dietary needs forced me to make a few substitutions, I used Udees GF Oats, Pumpkin Purée for the yogurt, ground chia for the
flax seeds, pumpkin pie spice in
place of cinnamon, soymilk for the milk and added it sparingly until I got the right consistency.
Next time I'm going to try chia
seeds in
place of the
flax.
Could I use that (1T
flax to 1T water) in
place of the chia

In a large bowl
place pumpkin butter, sugar, cinnamon and
flax seeds; mix until there are no longer clumps
of sugar in the pumpkin butter.
We used powdered milk with water and 3 TBS
of vinegar, coconut sugar and 1 TBS
of ground
flax seed in
place of the Xanthum Gum....
I would suggest using ground chia
seed in
place of the

Place the amaranth, flour, hemp
seeds,
flax seeds, almond meal, nutritional yeast, and salt in the bowl
of a stand mixer.
The typical zucchini bread has a pretty good amount
of oil in it, so I lightened up my version by using ground
flax seeds and low - fat yogurt in
place of a good amount
of oil.
Or to change it up a little bit, you can create a salad dressing by using
flax seed oil in
place of vegetable or canola oil in homemade dressing recipes.
I made this with 1 cup quinoa flour and.5 cup ground
flax + 2 T chia

my question is I purchased some chia
seeds recently and it stated that they can be used in

I used protein powder and almond meal in replace
of the flour, raw honey, and coconut sugar in replace
of the sugar, tapioca flour in
place of the corn starch, and added
flax and chia
seeds!
I doubled the recipe, used 3/4 cup
of honey and 1/4 cup maple syrup, used a stick
of butter and about 2 Tbl coconut oil, used about 1 cup
of ground
flax seed in
place of extra ground oats and double the cinnamon.
