of this world, the ultimate source
of bread is the baker's van, and there is no need to concern oneself with plowing, sowing, weeding, dunging, cutting, threshing, milling, and baking — not to mention the thousands
of mercantile transactions, from mortgages to tire rotations — that must be in
place, and continually attended to,
so that Skimpole might have his
honey on toast.
I just posted a recipe makeover for
honey mustard chicken using coconut oil in
place of the
honey... it has the same sweetness, but not
so overpowering!
I couldn't find yacon in any
of my local health stores,
so I used organic molasses and some
honey in
place of agave.
Fab flavour combos, orange white choc and cranberry always go great together — I also used raw
honey in
place of agave as I believe its a more natural, unrefined sweetner (agave isnt as innocent as you might think — read up about it) As for those
of you who wanted to know about the white choc chips, well I avoid all dairy and refined sugars
so I simply made my own, its dead easy — simply combine pure raw cacao butter (gently melted) with a pinch
of celtic salt, a little extract
of vanilla and some raw cashew butter, then freeze in a suitable container before breaking into chunks!!!!! yummy You can make dark chocolate chips even easier by melting pure coconut oil and stirring in a little vanilla,
honey and raw cacao powder before freezing!!!
O used 1/2 cup
honey in
place of sugar
so was slightly wet.
And
so I sliced up some bananas atop the pancakes, drizzled a teaspoon
of honey over, and
placed one plate for her, one for me.
Cut the chicken breast in half, cover with cling film and using a rolling pin gently bash the chicken
so that it is roughly the same thickness all over, heat a non stick frying pan, add the coconut oil and when melted
place your chicken in the pan, on a moderate high heat slightly sear the chicken then finish cooking on a medium heat, once the chicken is almost cooked add the orange, lemon and lime juice and the

so that it picks up the left over cooking juices, take
of the heat immediately, top your sticky sweet glazed chicken with the salsa and finish off with a drizzle
of the coconut dressing.
I wanted to use dates in
place of the
honey,
so I pureed a good handful (8 or
so?)
I used Maple Syrup in
place of the
honey (my husband boils his own,
so we have GALLONS).
I made a few adjustments... didn't have almond butter
so I used pumpkin seed butter which worked quite well, I am allergic to eggs
so I used 6 quail eggs instead, and then used raw agave syrup in
place of the
honey.
I have a batch
of these baking right now... but I made a few substitutions as I didn't have exactly the right ingredients but couldn't wait as they looked
so amazing... I used peanut butter, spelt flour in
place of the buckwheat, and a combination
of rice malt syrup and
honey in
place of the maple syrup!
They turned out fantastic but I can't help myself and always have to make adjustments
so tonight I used 75 grams (1/3 cup) Wax Orchards Oh Fudge in
place of the
honey & cocoa powder.
I had leftover cranberry sauce with citrus and walnuts
so I used that in
place of the
honey / maple syrup and it was perfect — sweet, tart and rich.
I didn't have
honey, but I did have maple syrup,
so this recipe is also very good with maple syrup in
place of the
honey.
If I have a design that has a lot
of extra pieces I «glue» them down with
honey or soynut butter (PB alternative since my daughter is allergic)
so that they stay in
place during travel and being moved around.

so if you keep your house cool, it will likely be soft but solid), put them into a glass oven - safe bowl or measuring cup (such as Pyrex), and
place it in pot filled with shallow, boiling water (do not let the water get into the bowl or cup containing the

honey bourbon chicken and I was reminded
of how much I love the chicken at this fast food
