Easy enough, but how do you configure apps to even
show (or hide)

place?
Status
notifications, like uploading something to Facebook, are sent to the bottom of the stack to disappear instead of
placed on top to
show you the thing you're already doing on your phone.
It also brings an improved drop - down
notification window, lock screen
notifications, card - like task manager with all apps appearing in the same
place, battery stats that
show battery time left, Material Design touch, stability improvements and performance enhancements.
On the subject of
notifications, MIUI 8 has a retooled
notification shade that
shows quick toggles and incoming messages in the same
place.
Speaking of which, there are a lot of pre-installed BlackBerry apps, like WorkSpaces, a Google Drive alternative; the famous BlackBerry Messenger; BlackBerry Hub, which
shows all your
notifications in one
place; Password Keeper, which stores your passwords in one secure location; and more.
The Whatsapp icon that
shows on the
notification bar in Android when a call is in progress has now been changed into a phone icon so that it doesn't look out of
place.
After a few seconds this fades and
places itself in a row of icons below the clock, which
show apps that are currently displaying
notifications for the next time you unlock the phone.
