other's
homes regularly (see Acts 2:46) It's good to have leaders overseeing the work and needs of each local church — this is the Biblical pattern — not all of us are called to church leadership, and so we should submit to, and serve whoever God has called to lead at the
place we find ourselves (see Acts 14:23; Titus 1:5; Hebrews 13:7, 17; 1 Timothy 5:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:12 - 13; Philippians 1:1 b; Ephesians 4:11 - 12; 1 Corinthians 12:28; 1
Peter 5:1 - 2; Acts 20:17;) If there are believers who are unable for physical reasons to attend a church weekly, they should find a church or believers who will gather together
with them regularly for worship
in their own
home.
The ASPCA advises all
pets have microchips
in place for identification or wear a tag
with your
home address, cell phone number and any
other pertinent information.
When you first bring your dog
home, you should
place him
in a carrier that prevents him from having physical contact
with your
other pet and vice versa.
The Yucca Valley Animal Shelter adopts out animals at the facility
in addition to working
with other agencies and rescue groups
in an effort to
place pets into good, permanent
homes.
Among
other things, when supply is on the demand side, there's a lot better chance of
placing pets in homes where they will receive the best care, rather than sending them out the door
with anyone having a body temperature of 98.6 just to get rid of them.
Have this saved into your phone,
in a
place you can easily find
in your
home (e.g., on your refrigerator),
in your car, and
in any
other place your
pet often is, such as
with a
pet sitter.
Maybe there's a
pet too energetic for the average household or an FIV + cat that needs to be
placed in a
home with either no
other cats or another FIV + cat.
Placing a «cat - tolerant» hound
in a
home with no need for such a
pet puts
other racing greyhounds waiting to be rescued from the racing industry
in peril.
We rarely assist
in placing dogs
with special needs or aggression — we simply are not equipped to rescue these dogs, as our dogs are heavily socialized
with others (a doggy daycare environment), or
in foster
homes, almost all of which have children and
other pets.
Make a Plan: You should have several ways to get out of your
home with your
pets, know how you will gather them safely
in a timely period and identify a «meet
place»
with other family members.
Although Midas gets along well
with other dogs, we will be
placing him
in a
home where he will be the only
pet as he believes he should have all the toys and all the attention.
The group's mission is to protect homeless, abandoned and mistreated Great Danes and
other dog breeds within our volunteer care organization; to work
with area animal shelters and humane societies
in rescue efforts to help
place adoptable animals into safe, loving, forever
homes; and to educate people about spay / neuter and the need for sterilization of all
pets, proper health care of a
pet, nutritional requirements, socialization and training.
But a contingent of public shelters and animal welfare organizations and rescues have come together
in New York to support a bill offered by Assembly Member Amy Paulin, A. 5449 - A that offers a framework for cooperation between shelters and rescues to make sure all reasonable efforts are being made to reunite lost
pets with their families or caregivers; and find
homes or
places for
other animals
in shelters.
