microtransactions currently
in place even if the basic system is already integrated, but there is no telling when the developers might just implement it
in the actual
game.
Most of what they do are sequels to 5 + year old franchises with 2 +
games already
in them that have very little new or interesting to offer, and the rest is ruined by
microtransactions, lootboxes, or some other form of fuckery that has no
place in a $ 60 - $ 120
game (if you count the season pass necessary to get the full experience)

There's also the thorny issue of DLC and
microtransactions that gained the
game so much infamy prior to release, including the slap to the face of the fans that was opting to
place the iconic character Goro as a pre-order bonus that can now also be bought
in the store.
With a roadmap
in place for new content,
microtransactions, features and events, Pokémon Go could keep users spending
in app and this could very easily turn into the most successful
game of the year.
At this point i don't see why they want the SW IP, they should just do an online version of ME or DA with lots of
microtransactions, it's ok to monetize your
game, but you need to want to makes
games in the first
place.
As you would expect from a
game that has made the jump to the bigger screen, and there are also a huge amount of
microtransactions in place for those who wish to try and advance their
game without the need of putting the work
in.
Replayability is key to what keeps a player coming back to a
game in the first
place, and with said player coming back time and time again the chance of using the
microtransactions involved
in that multiplayer also rises.
Pokémon Go being a free - to - play
game means there are plenty of
microtransactions in place to help you fill up on items with real world cash.
