I also liked the natural and unobtrusive
placement of the headphone jack (again, provided you're using the tablet in landscape).
The way it doesn't fold flat, while not the end of the world or without purpose, does make it more cumbersome than it could be and
the placement of the headphone jack, while great for using it as a tablet, feels slightly awkward for a laptop being at the top of the screen.
The placement of the headphone jack, microUSB port and machine drilled speaker holes on the base mimic the iPhone 6, while the change from a volume rocker to separate metal keys on the left also suggests a Cupertino influence.

headphone jack and SIM slot, and microUSB port, at the top and bottom respectively.
A 3.5 mm audio
jack apparently won't be part
of the package, less ASUS decided for a more unconventional
placement of the
headphone port, i.e. had it installed on the top
of the handset.
Both phones lack the
placement of the traditional 3.5 mm
headphone jack.
Button and port
placement is the same as well, with the volume rocker and pleasingly textured power / sleep button located two - thirds
of the way up the right - hand edge, and the
headphone jack and microUSB port situated on the top and bottom edge
of the phone respectively.
Just like on the Galaxy S8, there is a 3.5 mm
headphone jack, and a USB type - C connector, the
placement of which will bug the hell out
of everyone with even the slightest form
