I really hate the fact that studies such as these limit the scope of
places of worship studied.

Going to a
place of worship does not make you a Christian, it's your personal relationship with Christ and
studying your Bible with the help
of the Holy Spirit and doing God's will that makes you one.
It seems impossible also to organize a genuine course
of study including the Biblical disciplines, church history, theology, the theory and practice
of worship, preaching, and education on other grounds than those
of habit and expediency unless there is clarity about the
place of these
studies and acts in the life

of faculty, while the school's extracurricular life is shaped by commitments coming from the model provided by paideia so that, for example, common
worship is made central to their common life and a high premium is
placed on the school being a residential community.
Third, it takes
place within a community which is empirically anchored in
worship of God, who is the object
of study.
Learning experiences in museums, theatres,
places of worship constitute Route 1 for the activities with least risk, whilst field
studies, expeditions,
study tours, farm visits and adventurous activities constitute Route 2 where the regime is more rigorous.
