When transitioning to a ketogenic diet, people sometimes don't enjoy
the plain taste of water compared to diet sodas or juices.
Not exact matches
Use
plain whipped cream or add a little rhubarb sauce to whipped cream instead
of cherries / But, if you want to go there, 2 C sour cherries, 1/3 — 1/2 C sugar, 1/4 C
water / For varying amounts
of cherries, plan on 3 - 4 T sugar per cup / Adjust sugar to personal
taste, a little more or less / 2 t orange or lemon zest optional — place 1 t in cooking mixture, reserve the rest for later / Place ingredients in a small pot, bring to a simmer and cook for about 8 minutes, until cherries are slightly softened / Remove from heat.

She may not like the
taste of the Pedialyte, but you can try a sports drink, or just
plain water alternating with juice.
Typically, meat purees are best made with
plain water as using the natural juices may make the
taste too strong for baby; adding a fruit or veggie puree is a great way to introduce the flavor
of meats.

taste buds determine an animal's diet, Xia Li at Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia and colleagues let six mammals choose between
plain water and
water flavoured with natural and artificial sweeteners.
When animals treated this way had been deprived
of salt, they did not distinguish between salty
water and
plain water, a paper from Zuker's lab reported — just as you would expect if that channel, called ENaC, were required for
tasting salt.
Story number 3: Study subjects who wash down a placebo pill with a strange
tasting drink got more
of a placebo effect than those who took the pill with
plain water.
While none
of this conjures up thirst - quenching images
of cold, clear
water flowing down a mountain stream, NASA did conduct some blind
taste tests that compared the recycled drinking
water with
plain tap
water as well as with tap
water that had iodine added to it.
Regardless
of whether you choose to drink it
plain or try to improve its
taste by adding lemon or mint, drinking warm
water deserves a special place in your morning rituals and here are 6 reasons to start doing it right away:

I don't like the
taste of most
of the products on the market, but now I'll skip it and go back to using
plain water.
If pure filtered
water tastes too
plain you can add a slice
of lemon or squeezed lemon juice or lime.
