This coffee cake is a
plain vanilla buttermilk cake with chocolate chips
mixed into the batter and topped with cinnamon streusel.
I added 3 soaked dates to the
mix and I'm thinking about adding some extract next time, maybe coconut or just
plain vanilla.
siggi's whole - milk yogurts are available in four delicious flavors —
plain,
vanilla, strawberry & rhubarb, and
mixed berries — siggi's whole - milk yogurt contains more protein than sugar per serving (without using low - calorie sweeteners or sugar substitutes).
I use it as one would commonly see yogurt at the store,
mixed with fruit, or
vanilla, but I also use it
plain in place of sour cream.
Mix in
plain yogurt, followed by lemon juice,

All you do is

Place the self - raising flour,

plain but there is always room for some CHOCcreativity, so feel free to add some chilli powder for Chilli Chocolates or peppermint essence or

For the filling, I
mix 580g Daiya
plain cream cheese with 60g
vanilla vegan protein powder and 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk, then pour it over the crust.
300 ml fat free yoghurt, thinned with 15 ml milk 1 large egg 80 ml oil (such as vegetable, safflower, sunflower or olive oil) 50 grams lightly packed dark brown sugar 1 teaspoon
vanilla extract or zest of citrus fruit of your choice 90 grams oat bran 125 grams spelt flour (can substitute
plain flour) 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1/4 teaspoon table salt several teaspoons sugar — for topping the muffins 3/4 to 1 cup chopped
mixed fruit (just about anything but citrus or pineapple will work, I used 10 strawberries but have previously used frozen raspberries and blueberries successfully)
Mix in a few drops of
vanilla extract, then add the ground almonds and
plain flour.
Had a cucumber instead of a zucchini (make sure you seed it), used
mix of whole wheat / all purpose flour, used
vanilla greek yogurt instead of
plain since I had it on hand, and used agave instead of honey.
I love
mixing a little honey and a splash of
vanilla into
plain whole milk Greek yogurt for a yummy healthy fruit dip that is also low sugar.
One girl eats whole milk,

You can boost the protein content by
mixing in a scoop of
plain or
vanilla protein powder (add to the sunflower butter).
I always use
plain yogurt,

mixed frozen tropical fruit, orange juice and a little bit
vanilla extract to make smoothies.
