However, adding yogurt, kefir, or whey to your soaked flour is actually worse than soaking the flour
in plain warm water because of the calcium content of those foods.
After the first rinse, give them an additional final soak in
plain warm water for ten minutes before drying.
It's best to use
plain warm water without any additives, but there are recipes available to make your own wipes using distilled water, mild baby shampoo and olive oil.
Alternatively, instead of putting the Dawn or baby shampoo in the water, soak your kitten
in plain warm water.
Then use the cotton wool and
plain warm water (or baby wipes) to remove the rest and get your baby really clean.
Plain warm water is the gentlest, most effective cleaner.
