Today, most breech babies are born by
planned Cesarean section, but a planned vaginal birth of a single breech baby may sometimes be an option.
A study in 2013 involving 106 participating centers in 25 countries came to the conclusion that, in a twin pregnancy of a gestational age between 32 weeks 0 days and 38 weeks 6 days, and the first twin is in cephalic presentation,
planned Cesarean section does not significantly decrease or increase the risk of fetal or neonatal death or serious neonatal disability, as compared with planned vaginal delivery.
If you are having
a planned Cesarean section (C - Section), go the day before the birth.
Again, the ultrasound machine would continue to offer clients one more step for flipping their breech baby before facing the decision to birth their baby breech at home, or face

section is important since nearly one third of Moms in the U.S. have

They may develop postpartum depression or post-traumatic stress syndrome.9, 20,25,31 Some mothers express dominant feelings of fear and anxiety about their
cesarean as long as five years later.16 Women having
cesarean sections are less likely to decide to become pregnant again.16 As is true of all abdominal surgery, internal scar tissue can cause pelvic pain, pain during sexual intercourse, and bowel problems.Reproductive consequences compared with vaginal birth include increased infertility, 16 miscarriage, 15 placenta previa (placenta overlays the cervix), 19 placental abruption (the placenta detaches partially or completely before the birth), 19 and premature birth.8 Even in women
planning repeat
cesarean, uterine rupture occurs at a rate of 1 in 500 versus 1 in 10,000 in women with no uterine scar.27
Especially with
planned cesarean, some babies will inadvertently be delivered prematurely.1 Babies born even slightly before they are ready may experience breathing and breastfeeding problems.21 One to two babies per 100 will be cut during the surgery.33 Studies comparing elective
cesarean section or
cesarean section for reasons unrelated to the baby with vaginal birth find that babies are 50 % more likely to have low Apgar scores, 5 times more likely to require assistance with breathing, and 5 times more likely to be admitted to intermediate or intensive care.4 Babies born after elective
cesarean section are more than four times as likely to develop persistent pulmonary hypertension compared with babies born vaginally.17 Persistent pulmonary hypertension is life threatening.
Even mothers who are
planning a natural birth should consider whether they would want a spinal or epidural in the event that they would need a
cesarean section.

Since some women need
cesarean sections (C -
sections), your birth
plan should probably cover your wishes in the event that your labor takes an unexpected turn.
Regardless if you are
planning a birth at home, a hospital, a birth center or need a
cesarean section, or if you are taking another childbirth education class...
But whether you are
planning a scheduled c -
section or you have an unplanned
cesarean birth in labor, having a few thoughts about your preferences before your baby's arrival can be a good idea.

The odds of

A C -
section might be
planned ahead of time if you develop pregnancy complications or you've had a previous C -
section and aren't considering vaginal birth after
cesarean (VBAC).
If you are
planning a safe, skilled
cesarean birth, you should hire someone who is an expert at
cesarean sections.
VBAC's are successful 75 % of the time, and successful VBAC's have lower complication rates than
planned repeat
cesarean sections.
A number of non-invasive, non-pharmocological solutions have been shown scientifically to be as effective as active management in lowering
cesarean section rates: a companion in labor in the hospital (Thornton and Lilford 1994), midwives rather than doctors as the principle birth attendants in hospital births of women without complications (Wagner 1994), out - of - hospital birth centers (Rooks et al. 1990), and
planned home birth (Wagner 1994).
Whether you want a natural birth, a medicinally assisted birth, a
Cesarean section (c -
section), or you don't really have a set
plan: the sooner you learn that your kids are the boss and that you require flexibility to keep your sanity, the better.
The conference, which was

sections in the past and
plan to attempt a VBAC this time around, be aware that this specific area of recovery might be more difficult than it was after a
cesarean.
Planned c -
sections for dogs are safe but there is still a bit of a risk for unexpected
cesarean sections, both for the mother and the puppies.
The total rehabilitation period following a

If a
