About 4 years ago I came across Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman which led me to more and more books about the
plant based lifestyle including The China Study which was the clincher
for me.
I enjoyed reading about how she overcame all of those issues, but my favorite part of the book was her explanations on how she handled common objections, combated anecdotal evidence, and dealt with negativity from people who were threatened, and / or didn't understand why she chose to give up the standard American diet
for a
plant -
based lifestyle.
