Everyday Maven — Paleo Taco Dip ~ The dip is ketogenic but adding
plantain chips as dippers is not but you could use the crispy baked porkitos above or pork rinds instead.
We enjoyed a traditional Colombian plate with beans, rice and
plantain chips as well as a funky pizza from Madenitaly; a completely vegetarian pizza truck with at least three vegan options on offer.
I pretty much treated that bag of

plantain chips on my way through to the cash register.

plantain chips, pineapple, orange, Fresno peppers and quinoa; Punta Hermosa Peru — marinated in aji amarillo lime emulsion, tossed with red onion, sweet potato, avocado and cancha, atop green rice; and the Jumunjin Beach Korea — marinated in Kimchi dressing and served with white sesame seeds, Kimchi, seasoned crushed cashews and scallions, finished with Yuzu tobiko.
The research and development department experimented with various cooking methods
as well
as flavor combinations to create the Turbana
plantain chip.
As for Turbana, the introduction of the
plantain chip is only the beginning.
The first photo at the top of this post is the full dish
as it is served in the restaurant, with
plantain chips and pickled onions.
Overall, this recipe was a hit on our appetizer table,
as we served it along side
plantain chips.
As a side note, if you can not find suitable
plantain chips locally, simple ordering Inca brand
chips through Amazon is even more convenient.
Use
as a dip for
plantain chips, tortilla
chips, over veggies, etc!
I've only ever had
plantains as chips (in NYC) before... I'd love to try them like this!

Banana
chips,

as snacks, we eat them with breakfast, we eat them
as a side with dinner.
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until it comes together
as a ball and
plantains chips are broken up into tiny pieces.
