My recommendation is you start with a wire crate, perhaps have a
plastic or fabric crate for travel, and a furniture style crate only when your
dog is fully
house trained and you'd like to fit the crate into the style of your home.
Removable
plastic film or spray - based glass coatings can help to obscure your
dog's view of areas that he observes and guards from within your
house.
The
dog house should be turned to face away from the wind, and the doorway should be covered with a flap of heavy waterproof fabric or heavy
plastic.

Because there is currently NO fence between us, after we took this photo we had to pile up outdoor furniture and other barriers around our patio and between our
houses as a temporary fence (where that leaning wired fencing and
plastic version was for awhile) in hopes of keeping our
