In a
plastic container (if it has a lid it will last a week or so after mixing), mix together 1 part drywall compound to 4 parts
paint.
It will take at least 3 coats but stayed creamy in lidded
plastic container (I did put
plastic wrap on top of
paint to make sure the air in the
container didn't dry it out).
Crafts
Plastic containers specially designed for sewing,
paints, knitting needles, beading and much more are available at craft stores.
On the how to mix the
paint question, we just used a
container at home and scooped out maybe two and a half
plastic cups full of white
paint and one
plastic cup full of Studio Taupe.
Some great items you can get at thrift stores and dollar stores are old picture frames, vases, candleholders, old books, fake pumpkins, faux leaves and pinecones, and
plastic containers that can be
painted.
I stored the
paint in a
plastic container with lid, and I did notice that when I used it the NEXT day for touchups, it had some hard chunks in it, but with stirring I was able to still use the
paint and avoid or pull out the chunks.
Put a little wax into a
plastic container and then wet a sponge and begin lightly going over the areas you've
painted.
To make it easy, I poured 2 bottles of
paint and 1 bottle of fabric medium into an old
plastic container and mixed them together with my sponge brush.
Save the
plastic top from a shaker cheese
container and screw it onto an empty mason jar:: Fill the jar with your favorite
paint.
