He just point a fact, the core of the
team are average british players and yes the blame lays on Wenger
first for playing them out of position with poor tactic but also by making them the
first teamer
when their level is not good enough to win big stuff.
I see lot of coments about how we can sign Reus «cuz he's a world class player.Yes, he is a great player BUT did you see how mutch this season was he injuried? The period
when Dortmund win some games and comme forward in the table was the period
when Reus was available, rest of the season he was injuried. This is one thing, the other think is that Klopp say he will leave Dortmund in the end of the season and looking
for a new chalange.I'm pretty sure that he will leave to a big
team and will take Reus after him.Sterling is exactly the same type of player as Sanchez, just doesn't have the same experience, he's not fully developed.I think he can be a
first XI player
for us and I think will be great alongside Sanchez, replacing Cazorla
when he will leave.Sterling is an English player, will be great to see him at nationat
team too, and we need as mutch as rest of the big
teams from EPL home grown players. The coments who say that we have Gnabry and Wellington make me laugh, really?Do you want trophies?Or do you want to see more young players and waiting year after year to confirm or just see how they doesn't
play anything?We are a top
team, and need performance in UCL too, not just participaiting.Sterling is a young CONFIRMED player who will definetly help us.Agree that he's not fully grown but he will be a great player.
The brilliant Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky is now in his 8th season at Arsenal, and has always performed brilliantly
when called upon to
play for the
first team, but due to various injuries and Arsene Wenger's choices our Little Mozart has only averaged 20 starts a season in all competitions, and another 10 per year as substitute.
this kid had it all and could have been truly great but guess what, you can take the kid out of the hood but you can't always take the hood out of the kid, sterling hangs around with a bunch of idiots who think posting their mate online doing laughing gas is clever and there all living in London, bringing him in would be a huge mistake in my opinion and those of you suggesting to offer theo and money, Im so glad you don't run the club, theo is the best r winger in the league

One factor that strengthens this trend,

I've always maintained my stance that Arsene Wenger loves French players in his
team than any other players. No matter how average you are once you're French and once you're in the
first team he tends to give you so many chances to prove yourself.I can start mentioning them if you want me to but I know you know them.If Lucas Perez was French he wouldn't have been out so early believe me.I just don't know where to begin. Was Giroud bought to become a super sub or to be the leading striker?Having giving us many sesons of failure people are now content with him being a so called super sub.A player like Giroud is not built
for that kind of role.He ws a super sub in 99 % of those matches because he was not
played when he was supposed to and we needed presence in the air.The funny thing is people are using only this season to label him as a super sub. There were so many matched that Wenger should have started Giroud but
for some reason didn't start him.I only see Arsenal as the top club who'd be crying over Giroud. If a good offer comes we should sell.
Come the other year
when Arsenal went the whole season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they
played few games, and sometime on the bench, as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal, then the other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal
team, he went again to Barcelona, he was never given some games, I think he only
played few games as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona, then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he
played some games but not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was not looking like a star player anymore, he decided to go to America, then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he
played for two seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come back to Arsenal, by then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea, then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always on the banch, and never been on
first eleven, then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do not take players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up not
playing at all but
when playing for Arsenal they used to be star players.
But I have been saying the same thing about Sanchez since last season, his
first game in the Charity shield and then that game against Villa earlier last season
when he
played striker, I noticed that he was so poor in possession and can't link up
play with his
team mates, he has the worst passing
for a player of his calibre..
I would not eqbt to see that match... sure walcott can take the place of alexis
when the second has been more important
for us in 3 years than the
first in 10 years... im not ok with alexis attitude yesterday but u do nt know if that was because he was sustituted... maybe he was not ok with his performance or he want mire goals, and thats ok
for me, that attituted u will never see in theo because he born here under wenger and he is ok with his wages that he do nt deserve and being 4th... im ok with alexis attitud in boros game, because a draw was not enought
for arsenal, and im ok with him
when he ask
for the salary he does diserve...
for me he is one of the best in the epl, maybe the best, and without any question who makes things happen in our
team... he deserves 200 or 250k a week more than any in our
team, even moseur wenger... ozil deserve 180k only because he is going up with his performances and have show more attitud than ever... ur famous theo deserve 80k or go and
play at west ham
Now that he's in the playoffs

If you want to make a case
for Nouhou's «mental attention span», try defining what constitutes an error and then chart out

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except
for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency
for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back
when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his
first injury, if and
when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7
teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good
team can afford to have that many average players on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as
for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Nervous start — usual criticism at the beginning of the season, with the lack of spending Ramsey's
first blood — Arsenal shocked the league, we
played brilliant football, scoring beautiful goals, all seemed like a decent season
for us Coq red card — injury crisis struck, the lack of bench depth put pressure on the
team, the downfall of performance caused crucial points Alexis» goal
when down to ten men - it all seemed like arsenal would lose out in the title race again but arsenal somehow surprised the league again, saying aye we got the quality but we just ai nt gonna show in week in week out Draw in NLD with 10 men — can't really complain about it but you ain't happy.
Mertz should never have been our captain in the
first place... who has ever heard of a
team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse
for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens
when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen
when you
play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded
for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has
played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember
when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor
for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
The time substitutions against QPR was ok, don't forget we made
first early sub in
first half because of injury to Gabriel, So i think waiting
for that last minuet change
when your
team is
playing well was the perfect time to bring on players like Ramsey to test game again.
There is every reason to panic especially
when AW starts to mess around with the
team in order to accomodate Wilshere, yet Arsenal lost the league to Chelsea
for the same reason.Fans begged Wenger to let Ozil
play no 10 but Wenger closed his ears. The
team lost the league in the
first few days
when Wenger messed up
team selection.
Similar situations
played out
for other top free agents like Yu Darvish and Jake Arrieta, who both ended up signing with the one
team that made a serious offer, and they were lucky compared to the likes of Lance Lynn, a No. 2 starter who had to settle
for what would have looked like a free agent bargain back in 2005
when he was
first drafted out of high school.
On paper you would think that
playing Forest would be an easyish task, considering they have won only one of their last 8 games in the Championship, but League form goes out of the window
when it comes to the FA Cup, especially
when Wenger is forced to
play some second string players to help the
First XI
team regain some strength
for the Top Four challenge.
We were conceding loads of goals
when we were
playing «back four» as well as «back three» so it's the training and the way the
team is set up that determines the outcome of matches We conceded 2 goals in the
first half at Anfield with «back three» and conceded another 2 in the second half with» back four» though it could have been more in both halves but
for our goalkeeper's alertness.
It is important
for a great
team to have backups who challenge
for first team places — the season is long and tiring
when you
play nearly year round
for 60 games.
We've given the number 10 shirt worn by Dennis Bergkamp to Jack Wilshere who god knows
when played last
for the
first team?
Hmm, Theiry should be our club embassador like Vieira was
for citeh and I think Keown should be
first team coach, I believe he
played a big part
when we set a CL record
for clean sheets?
Maybe he's not in fitt but the talent never leave. If you take a new player and wait him
for developing you can wait as mutch as
for Walcott. But Wilshere is one of the best English players after Rooney, at the same level with Sterling I can say.Is a briliant player
when he's in fitt, let's be honest
when he
play bad, our
team play bad to, if he wasn't injuried now
when our
team play well, I'm sure he
play well too.We need a new midfielder this summer, I think Gotze could be perfect
for creation with Wilshere, and Coquelin in their back to secure defence.I don't know why but
when I see this to player's
first, in 2010 - 2011, I see them as better as Iniesta - Xavi.
I've been a Gooner since late 90's
when I saw Bergkamp
play for the
first time, and Wenger is all I know, but I would seriously consider switching
teams, if Mourinho became our next manager, because I hate him so much.
did I asked
for that... Didn't you get me
when I said we are 11 yrs without EPL title never mind the CL... what joy do you find in a drought... You know that FA are not up to the level of EPL and CL... Your Wenger use to
play the kids in FA... and
when he felt the pressure of going all these years without a single trophy he started to
play his
first team in FA cup to get in the comfort zone that you are giving him now...
Why Fabregas has more assist (18 assist) this season 2015 than wilshere has had (11 assist) since 2008
when he started
playing for the
first team.
Jon - Wenger inherited a defence
when he
first arrived.Dixon Winterburn Adams Bould Keown.ALL English and ALL proper defenders.By that I mean that while they could all
play a bit they were
first and foremost Defenders. In came Campbell
for Bould.Again was English, a proper defender and knew his job in the
team which was quite simply to DEFEND.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer
for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of
play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and
play» mentality where players
play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance
play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble
when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted
play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone
for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially
when Giroud was
playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as
for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched
played for the Swiss national
team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball
play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he
played with Coq Wenger always seemed to
play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as
for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap
when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been
played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National
team's midfield, where
teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary
first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad
for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this
team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so
when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this
team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
When I think about it I can't reallly seem to remember Sanogo
playing badly
for the
first team.
We should only use youngsters
when they're shown able to
play on the same level as our
first team like Iwobi, the excuse that our future is bright should not be a reason
for Arsenal fans to accept mediocrity and broken promises.
«I think sometimes people forget that
when you
play for a top national
team then you
play every week,
play every summer, have a short break and you carry on, carry on, carry on — I think the
first few months of the season the fatigue caught up with him,» Cech added.
I just don't even knoe what goes through Wenger's head.A player keeps
playing and causing harm to the
team and yet is allowed to
play every week
when there are far better players on the bench.Xhaka is so bad and I wish he never signed
for Arsenal in the
first place. If we're going to talk about potential I think Niles has more potential than Xhaka and is already the much better player.
I suspect Wenger isn't prioritising the Europa league because he knows full well he's not good enough to win it so he'll eventually start putting a weakened
team out in the latter rounds providing we even get past Ostersunds which is probably 50/50 so
when we fail in the competition he has an excuse «We didn't
play our
first team, we don't believe qualifying
for the champions league through this competition» the man is unbelievable!
Between stopping Fischer in the
first half
when he went off
for 15; to giving us that extra boy to soak up minutes to keep everyone fresh; to having an offensive force down low that
teams have to game plan
for; and finally to have Paschall and Jenkins
play in the more natural wing positions instead of trying to fill the big man void.
watching my
team against Ireland yesterday even tough we won i wasn, t impressedit, we only start
playing with purpose
when we go behind and
when we, re in front we slow down our
play, i thought koscielny had a decent game with a couple of good clearance and his job was made more difficult by adil rami who is a burden on the
team and always one mistake away, giroud can, t be blamed
for his
first half performance the guy was starved of any service and it, s only
when griezman was moved to his favourite position that giroud started making the difference what a great assist, by the way shane long dived
for the penalty but that, s ok we are square now with the irish we had henry, s handball & they had the penalty!!
Martinez has already
played 10
first team games
for the Gunners and will not be feeling the added pressure that youngsters normally get
when called into action.
«
When it's a friendly game,
for example now Koscielny goes to the French national
team, having
played every single game apart from the
first game of the season with us.
even
when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial
for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a chance to
play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up
play talents would been on display
for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled
for a position that shouldn't have been theirs
for the taking in the
first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a
team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the
teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as
for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with
playing in North London
for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
Granite Xhaka saved us last night, i'm not a great fan of Xhaka but i thought the game changed as soon as he come on, on Wilshere i have been his biggest supporter but last night he let me down badly, he made no space
for himself he was just out
for the fresh air, i thought Sead had a lousy game to even do he scored, it was a sad night
for Arsenal supporters and football to watch that, there were plenty of alarms raised
when we
played Ostersunds FK in the
first leg in the second half, AW should of known better to prepare his
team and should get off his ass and shout a bit from the side line like all passionate managers do
when they send a message to their players
Truth be told,
when last did you see a youngster hungry to
play and show his qualities every time he gets the chance to
play for the
first team?
If I see that level of commitment every game and we finish 5th I'll raise my hand and say alright, other
teams were better, but seeing how
when we went, we can dominate
teams like Spurs and then on the next game we can
play like our players met
for the
first time 5 minutes before than game is what drives me insane.
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table...
for me, a top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level
when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so
when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse
for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year
for many of the traditionally dominant
teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by
playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient
when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself
when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy
for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether
for Real or the German National
team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially
for someone who is a pass
first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management
team for not stepping up
when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing
play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
when he did
play for the
first team he no way in hell looked out of place it was the big knee injury that set him back & no doubt he will bounce back very soon.
But
when people are saying we should sign X-player who contributed well last season while
playing every single game
for «depth» sure, on paper it looks great, but a lot of players hit patches of form that may not necessarily be given that opportunity here, as there may be someone else in the squad who hits the ground running and contributes straight away... If Coquelin, Arteta, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, AOC, Ozil, Cazorla, Rosicky are all fit and firing, I think you're sorely mistaken if you think anything but a truly world - class midfielder would be looking at those names and not potentially evaluating their
first -
team opportunities.
I remember
when Coq and Dench where trying to make
first team, it was Dench that yous two and allot people where calling
for to
play more, and then ya say its only because hes French that Coq got picked, then youd be screaming
for Wenger and Coqs head as things where not going great, and now look what yous are trying to say — Dench is the one who got games and Coq was always as good as he is now... somethings stay same — Wenger is blah blah.
yet he still cant motivate a
team to
play with urgency
when they are losing a game to a kids
first 11 in a title race we are competing
for.
You've got to prove yourself but
when you come in to the
first team you
play in front of thousands of people millions on TV and actually
playing for something important with big expectation from everyone.
Picture this, we don't come out of the gate firing on all cylinders, Wenger speaks of how there wasn't enough time
for the
first - teamers to build chemistry, several key players aren't even
playing because of Wenger's utterly ridiculous policy regarding players who
played in the Confed Cup or the under21s and the boo - birds have returned in full flight... if these things were to happen, which is quite possible considering the Groundhog Day mentality of this club, how long do you think it will take
for Wenger to recant his earlier statements regarding Europa... I would suggest that it's these sorts of comments from Wenger which are often his undoing... why would any manager worth his weight in salt make such a definitive statement before the season has even started... why would any manager who fashions himself an educated man make such pronouncements before even knowing what his starting 11 will be come Friday, let alone on September 1st... why would any manager who has a tenuous relationship with a great many supporters offer up such a potentially contentious talking point considering how many times his own words have come back to bite him in the ass... I think he does this because he doesn't care what you or I think, in fact he's more than slightly infuriated by the very idea of having to answer to the likes of you and me... that might have been acceptable during his formative years in charge,
when the fans were rewarded with an scintillating brand of football and success felt like a forgone conclusion, but this new Wenger led
team barely resembles that
team of ore... whereas in times past we relished a few words from our seemingly cerebral manager, in recent times those words have been replaced by a myriad of excuses, a plethora of infuriating stories about who he could have signed but didn't and what can only be construed as outright fabrications... it's kind of funny that
when we want some answers, like during the whole contract debacle of last season, we can't get an intelligent word out of him, but
when we just what him to show his managerial acumen through his actions, we can't seem to get him to shut - up... I beg you to prove me wrong Arsene
