Of course, many campaigns will

Look at when he has

we have no cover for CB at all then, Chambers needs to sit on the bench and be healthy for covering RB and CB as much as i want to see what hes
like as a DM its too high of a risk to
play him there atm, I'd def go for bellerin for RB though hes so fast and has tremendous technical ability, One person i think wenger should of taken to dortmund is diaby just incase hes needed would be nice for diaby to get a good 60 min game but i do nt think hes ready for CL just yet since he hasnt even featured
in the PL yet but then again no harm
in taking him since hes been linking up with bellerin pretty well

I thought people here were debating about two or three seasons back why he should be our top striker. When I thought the Monaco match was the icing on the cake to show how average he was it seems just
like Wenger we» will never learn our lesson. Now people our okay with him being a super sub which is debatable.Giroud was a super sub
in games last season because he wasn't
played when he was supposed to.He's not your ideal super sub because he very hardly creates but rather requires people to create for him. Most of the time super subs are the one's who tend to create the chances and open up
spaces in the opposition defence.West ham are ready to pay and hence we should demand more from them.We can then use the money from his sale on far better players.Given the same seasons, time and chances a lot of average strikers can do better than what he did. This is because Arsenal create a lot of chances and it just needs someone who can finish.Goodbye!.
Compare him to another mobile ST

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of
play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and
play» mentality where players
play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance
play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the
likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted
play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was
playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I
like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched
played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball
play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points
in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he
played with Coq Wenger always seemed to
play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act
like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he
like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been
played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players
in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the
space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is
like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
For example 4 -3-3 concentrate less on
playing in the centre and attempting to dominate it as it's contest Arsenal will win and take advantage of the fact that the full backs haven't got pace, which normally means the defensive midfielders or center backs often end up doubling up on the wingers... thus clearing a
space in the middle and allowing people
like Ozil and Giroud to
play to the strong points of their game.
Vardy overall style of
play is similar to Walcott, they
like to receive passes threaded through
space at displaced defenders, defenders running back toward thier goal so that they could used thier pace most of Vardy goals were scored
in that fashion.
As we have already
played five games
in the last two weeks and will face West Ham, Monaco and then Newcastle
in the
space of seven days, I think that Wenger may need to look after a few of his big name players,
like Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla.
if you watch arsenal place I see so much
space and no runs no runs at all only when
in the box if you watch Leicester they are always makeing runs all over the place that's how you score goals against a team
like Southampton they controlled the game it was not unlucky just
like chelsea can do control the game and won arsenal players don't believe they can win the title the players
in that team
play without heart you know why because Im sure wenger tells them becareful we don't need anymore Injurys what kind of mentality is that also I will pick out Ramsey he is
playing like a player who is leaveing the club he and flamini just don't work Ramsey is not
playing good at all wenger can blame make excuses but truth is he is the manager he make the tactics and he gets it wrong all the time giroud has no pace none bench him against some teams and
play pure pace make runs ox Walcott but they don't Walcott has lost it his pace has gone its clear or he fears I jury how if a player is fit put your all
in forget injury if you get Injured then so be it but if your fit and your Walcott run put yourself about wenger should leave because he.
even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the
spaces that were crucial for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a chance to
play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up
play talents would been on display for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested
in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «
like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled for a position that shouldn't have been theirs for the taking
in the first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the teams who supposedly expressed interest
in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with
playing in North London for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
Granite Xhaka saved us last night, i'm not a great fan of Xhaka but i thought the game changed as soon as he come on, on Wilshere i have been his biggest supporter but last night he let me down badly, he made no
space for himself he was just out for the fresh air, i thought Sead had a lousy game to even do he scored, it was a sad night for Arsenal supporters and football to watch that, there were plenty of alarms raised when we
played Ostersunds FK
in the first leg
in the second half, AW should of known better to prepare his team and should get off his ass and shout a bit from the side line
like all passionate managers do when they send a message to their players
And this is why Giroud struggles he's particular set of skills as a Deep lying Forward, become f@cking useless, when you're overcrowded
in the final third what does hold up
play do, his finishing is also nulified on account of the fact that as a deep lying forward doesn't poses the strength to fight his way out of situations
like this
like a target man would do... or the dribbilng capabilities, mobility to be able to wriggle past defenders
in these small
spaces.
Nothing
like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record -
like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened
in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams
in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by
playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil
in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball
in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed
in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it
in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing
play, only made worse by his mopey posturing
like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
Bailey's early teammates included Darrell Green and Deion Sanders, who would come to be regarded as the Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln on the Mount Rushmore of shutdown corners, even though the gap between their
playing styles was as yawning as the South Dakota prairie: Green
liked to get physical, while the ball - hawking, contact - averse Sanders excelled
in space.
If he wants to
play like Barcelona, then he will need to go and buy players who can keep possession, dribble
in tight
spaces, control a pass and control a game.
If we
played more direct with long balls at first touch trying to reach Theo then it would be more beneficial for someone
like him but with bigger CB's
like Kompany and Shawcross the minute you try to maneuver
in a tight
space they will go through you to get the ball.
In the right situation,
playing next to one of those rare floor -
spacing and rim - protecting big man
like Serge Ibaka or Anthony Davis, Randle could be a really good player on a championship - caliber team.
Absolutely and getting a good CM
in the
likes of Cazorla who is great at exploting
spaces will help with the build up
play and transition from defence into attack, which would also lead to less errors and giving the ball away.
Xhaka, who I
like, or at least I
like the Xhaka who
plays for the Swiss national squad, has shown to be
in way over his head
in the premiership... of course he showed late
in the year that he can stretch the field with the long ball but our squad isn't really set - up for that style of
play... most of his long passes are
in the air not on the ground and our squad without Giroud, which should have been sold the minute the transfer window officially opened, is one of the smallest
in England... we need someone who can pick out the runs of our forwards
in the lanes and who is fast enough to come forward into
space without conceding his defensive responsibilities... we rarely see him shoot or even be
in a position on the field to do so, we rarely, if ever, see him used for set pieces and it appears that the only person at the club who has ever coached him up when it comes to tackling is Coq, which explains his atrocious disciplinary record... maybe it's me but didn't you see him coming
in and contributing more from an offensive perspective, with his killer left foot, than a deep - lying midfielder... if that wasn't the case we are the stupidest team alive for taking him over Kante
i am yet to be impressed with this ramsey wilshire combo they both take each others
space and wilshire booms forward more but once he gets to the final third he doesn't no what to do and rushes and ramsey is a shadow of himself with wilshire their, ramsey tends to
play more conservative with wilshire there and worst is we have one of the best cams
in the world but we shift him to the wing to accommodate wilshire if wenger continues to pick players
like this you can say goodbye to any title challenge.
Goal two i have said so many times wilshere does not
like to run back, he watches huddleston
play the ball wide then darts to the
space behind gibbs to receive the ball, wilshere who was closes to huddleston watch the
play develop and when the man receive the ball behind gibbs he decides to jog after him which by then too late, bert then decides to lose his forward who gets
in front him to head the goal
in.
He is not cutting inside with the ball but make inside run without the ball — exploiting
space between full back and centre back Chamberlain is
playing as the real Winger
in our formation —
like to beat full back with his quick feet and cross the ball
in the box — he is less than 1 dimension as Young or Navas and try to dribble his way
in the box from the wing a few times Ramsey on the right is
like a Wide - Playmaker — dictate the game from wide area and occasionally make penetrate run to the box
Now to the article I would
like to add that while sitting back the teams also give much
space to our full backs and after manu match some guy told bellerin is making his own position of right wing right back he is so true as bellerin overlapping runs have increased and he has created most no of clearcut chances this is the effect of
playing wallcott as a striker also monreal seems to improve his attacking
play now even if we lose balls it give more times to our player to track back and snatch the ball as we have bellerin le coq who has also good pace
in him.
why is arsenal fans so obsessive about pierre - emerick aubameyang do u think if he was that good he would still be
playing for Borussia Dortmund between him an Alexandre lacazette we should ask the question who suit over Style are the Premier League most teams we
play have eleven men
in the box he need room on
space to operate where as lacazette can operate we alot of defender around him more
like Sergio Aguero
when per and kos
played together kos was always having to cover behind per for the over the top ball into
space, and yesterday he wasnt gabriel was tracking across to help kos and likewise it looked
like it could develop into a top partnership However i do not think per will stay on the bench all season, as captain / vice captain wenger wont allow it Is it me or ever since the WC and retiring from international football, does mertesacker look less motivated to
play, he isnt even trying to run back whenever the ball is
played over him and he is always taking the easiest possible option Hope that we can sell per
in the summer and buy van dijk but i very much doubt there is a club out there that will want to buy mertesacker
«I think his style of
play would be ideal for Atletico because he is a fast player who
likes to counter-attack and to
play in space.»
It doesn't seem
like Arsenal will
play Alexis up top as a first option so realistically there is
space for two more players
in the attacking trio to
play behind Giroud or Welbeck.
He could
play on either flank, learn from someone
like Yoan Gouffran, or even
play in the
space behind Dwight Gayle.
«We all know that Mourinho

«It is not going to happen overnight but for me, when we are

space in the hole for Riyad Mahrez or Demarai Gray, or whoever.
In some ways, he is a forgotten man with something to prove and with the likes of both Rooney and Kagawa being exceptionally gifted when allowed the space in their opponents half, Cattermole could be pivotal should he play in the fixture and will win the adulation of the fans if a big result can be earned thanks to a sturdy performanc

For me Arshavin or Diaby, they both doesn't fit
in the midfield trio or winger role. They are more
like scoring Hleb,
playing behind striker attracting defenders, creating
space, dynamic with their runs or pure finishing and with minimal defensive responsibilities.A 4 -3-1-2 CF players.
The
play ended with a great cross from Lodeiro to what seemed
like empty
space in the box, only for Dempey to rushing into the
space and he smash it past Ousted to make the score 3 - 0
in the 69th.
I disagree with the premise of either / or to replace Firmino Origi could easily stretch the
play to allow Sturridge to drift
in from the left into
space — the difference is that Firmino pulls the defenders into midfield allowing fast strikers
like Salah or Mane behind the back line — Origi would tend to make them sit deeper giving
space for Sturridge to come into the
space vacated by the defenders as they drop deep and to permit himself to be closer to goal for headed opportunities
I
play like Scholes did, he
in a lot of situations
in his career followed the ball from the wing (cross) and ran into the empty
space, and now I'm doing the same thing.
