Being in the video game journalism industry, I've been fortunate to
play preview builds of games at trade shows like E3.
I've recently been
playing a preview build of the iOS version of Mutant Mudds, and as a huge fan of platformers on my iPhone and iPad I've been incredibly pleased with how it's feeling so far.
I could go on forever about all the cool stuff I saw there, but let me get down to business — I got to
play a preview build of The Force Unleashed II.

After spending a little while
playing through the
preview build, I began to notice the features that make Code Vein its own beast.

The game isn't out until October 13, and while pre-order customers received a beta of the game the version we'll be
playing is a proper
preview build with many more options.

preview event held atMilestone's studio in Milan, the Italian developer appears to have made significant strides,
building on the foundation set by MXGP 3 with a slew of graphical and physics improvements while adding innovative new features.

play, look and feel.
There should be a few as the player progresses, letting the
preview build's little side story
play out.
In a clever twist, the final stretch the
preview build I got to
play had me mount one of the very same Panzerhunds that was trying to chomp my face off at the beginning.
The Insider
Previews continue to be aimed at very technical people who want to
play with pre-released code, but I think you'll feel more and more comfortable using this
build and future
builds on your day to day systems.
From the
preview build I
played, I can see that this innovative idea quickly falls apart.
We've already had the chance to
play around with some of these, thanks to a
preview build available to Android beta testers, and one change that we like in particular is a revamped Settings menu.
In other words, folks running the normal (retail) version of Windows 10 will be able to
play around with standalone
preview versions of these apps, and test out their new features, without having to sign up and install the
preview build of Windows 10.
