The familiar Hemingway conflict, we are told, deals
with grace under pressure — or rather that's what the Hemingway hero strives for: he's the Good Sport and must
play the
game, not really caring whether he wins or loses but rather what the One
Great Scorer (and this is about as close as Hemingway ever gets to the divine or even the cosmic) thinks of the
game he's
played.

This is simple a very intelligent child can solve this problem.Firstly today our keeper was very poor however i know he will come good.By the way why is Paulista no getting his chance. What i have observed about arsenal since we signed Mertesacker from day one and since he started
playing is that Mertesacker hardly gets involved you will usually see him a few times because he does not want to get caught out.e has always been a weak link in the defence even in his
greatest performances here. When i see us
playing with a high line and he is there i always laugh. It is just a mistake waiting to happen and i can tell u that it will happen again this season.Secondly why is Ramsey Cazorla and Ozil
playing in the same line - up in a 4 -5-1 formation. That is just not right though it will win you some matches due to individual brilliance. It wont work at all.Lastly the least i say about Giroud the better i am not judging him on one game. One would imagine if he was not french and like chinese will he be getting these chances under Wenger. To me he will always be an average player and i will stand by my word even if he has good
games.

Juventus has one of the best defence in CL this season and who is their pure DM — NONE They are

We need to change some players, even if they are good players to make our
game more dinamic, more complete. If Walcott will leave, definetly Sterling is the right choose to
play with Sanchez. If Bayern will want Ozil, I think we should let him go.I think mutch people will be not agree
with this, Ozil is a
great player BUT is not a complete player, doesn't have enough speed and is seems sometimes like he is not involved in the
game.I think a switch
with Gotze can be benefic for our team, he run alot, is creative and make the defensive as well.We need a Striker to, but a good one, someone like Benzema or Cavani, someome who can get at least 20 goals per season.A new DM is what we need for balance the
game, I think Vidal is the best in the world in this moment (is just my opinion), he working hard in defence and can win a
game with a long shot. This is the way I see footbal.
Didn't watch the
game and to be honest I don't fancy a line up
with Giroud upfront, I feel bored usually... I don't like his turtle's movement, I don't like his hold up, I don't like his skill, I don't like his little flick, nor do I like his tongue gesture... Everyone is entitle to his opinion but I don't like those
with comments polishing his hold up sh*t... and I'm an Arsenal fan
with great passion... Wenger, you failed us big time in the summer not signing a good striker, hey don't say there's no one available because I don't like that too... At this current situation,
play wallcot, Kos, sanchez or anyone (bar slow Mert) upfront and I would never complain...
It will happen, but if Theo plans to be a counter attacking striker
great but how many teams
play us

We came second to Leicester mainly because of the much
greater demands on the squad from our competing intensely on 3 fronts,
playing 2 tough
games every week without any respite — whilst Leicester had only the League to focus on,
with only one
game a week and crucially were given 2 weeks off to rest and recover their energy levels — over a period in which we were handicapped by many injuries, loss of form and confidence to key players whilst Leicester had no such handicaps.

Giroud is a
great example of a player who for the first few seasons
with us
played 60 +
game seasons and seemed an extemely durable player... whereas this season he pops in and out of the squad from week to week.
i was very impressed
with coquelin but we could all see the way newcastle was fowling him im worried it only a matter of time before his injured so we need suffcient cover arteta is ok but if something happens to coquelin (i pray it doesn't) where his out for a couple of
games arteta can not
play a bunch of
games for 90 mins all the time so im hoping arsene is looking at a DM has we speak also on theo, to be fair to him he actually did ok
great movement but it brings me to think that giroud and walcott can
play together in a 442 formation because giroud can provided the hold up
play for walcott to make runs and walcott can make the runs to allow space for giroud if walcott has gioroud finishing and giroud walcott pace we properly would be
with man city at the top of the league
why was Sanchez truly
playing... no one believes he was too injured to
play to start the season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured at all... so why
play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor at this club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and
played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team
with the
greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the
game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even at the end of last season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who
played for Chile and the one that
played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... I've supported your attempt to push this squad to the next level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up like this club, on the outside looking in
Play our
game and we will run out
with a convincing win giving us
great momentum for our FA cup.
I am old enough to remember really
great teams
playing with 13 - 15 players all season, 60 +
games in 3 or 4 comps on heavy pitches and «fatigue» was a rarely used word.
I believe what makes cazorla the player he is, is the ball rarely gets lost at his feet, he can dribble in tight spaces or pass the ball for that clear cut chance,
plays with his right or left,
great at dead ball situation, accurate shooting, his tempo is amazing too he will slow it down or speed it up based on the circumstances, an intelligent player that can read the
game a lack of pace but that means nothing when you are this talented!!
Theo isn't 1st choice CF, Giroud fights to win the ball back and I believe Theo needs to learn that but he does offer a
great «Plan B» during a
game, if Giroud can't do the job or we want to hold a lead then
play deeper
with faster strikers for counter attacking football instead of so much possession bassed.
What's crazy about it is that it's not as though it's a
great or competitive series: Washington owns a 71 -32-6 all - time record, and last year's matchup was only the second time both teams came into the
game with each
playing for the same title.
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his
game then we could have a
great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a
great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a
great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a
great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league
with this lot it will be his
greatest win yet and what might
play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
This is
great news for Jack, who clearly loves
playing for his country, but I think it is good for the Gunners as well, because being back in the
game with England should really help his confidence and make sure he continues to work hard on improving his
game.
In the third quarter, our team stepped things up and after some
great defensive
play from Akeem Thomas and
with Joe Carrick controlling the tempo as point guard, our team were able to shift the momentum of the
game and were able to close the gap on the leaders.

As you can all see Coq's Ball Skills (no pun intended) is getting better
with every
game... Thats what happens when
playing with great players like Santi / Ozil / Alexis / Bellerin.
Rumours are just rumours until the boss make it official like
with Paulista for example! That being said if we have indeed started a bid for llara that is
great news... He has genuine talent and is a
great defensive minded player, he can shield the defence effectively, his passing and long range
game would suit us as well and he has
great positional awareness... this is a player that lacks confidence and doesn't
play regularly that is all and it's undermining his
game!!
Fair enough, but first of all, that biggest loss of the season was due to a penalty and a late counter attack when we were going for it, and we didn't even
play great and we were in it for most of the
game, so don't be quick to judge that we are no where on same level
with Chelsea... but a loss is a loss.
