practice modes, though the devs have said they are working on bots to fill in empty spaces so playing by yourself may be a future option.

Playing the single
player matches feels a lot like
practice for playing in the multiplayer
mode because you never see any other
players.
As for those other
modes, there's the wildly chaotic and entertaining Kung Foot which puts two to four
players into a soccer match (one
player can «
practice», but this is a
mode made for multiplayer play) in which the goals are placed on either end of the screen on raised platforms.
So, Onrush's beta will let
players choose between the Interactive Tutorial, 6v6 Online Multiplayer and Superstar
Practice mode, the last of which can be played in «solo co-op or with friends.»
Unfortunately, you can not
practice this
mode against CPU bots, which is a big shame as adding an option to do that would great improve the single
player experience as well.
Be advised, if you aren't at least playing the single
player mode on the hardest level, you should be
practicing in Training
mode prior to hopping online.
A
player can choose from Career (complete objectives), Single Session (2 minute score attack) and Free Skate (
practice mode) before choosing a stage.
The number of
players who'll here gun fire and just run the opposite direction is unreal, therefore
practicing on a certain
mode with bots would make games so much more entertaining.
