If you want to get comfortable with moving, jumping and shooting all at once, the game's single -
player tutorial mission is a good place to start.
Not exact matches
The
tutorial and
missions to follow were lax and not restrictive, leaving a LOT of room for the
player to explore the various locations and complete
missions at their own pace.
Pared down strategy elements, scanty arsenal of weapons, lack of single -
player missions and decent
tutorials — yep, it's all there, but, in contrast to shooters that come off big assembly lines, the developers put love and effort into making of this game.
Along with these new characters comes a whole host of new single -
player missions, challenges, and
tutorials, along with some new additions to story and arcade mode.

players could also use the
Mission mode to go to
tutorial missions and to become more familiar with the game.
The first part of the game or prequel
mission serves as a
tutorial which teaches the
players the control mechanics of the title which is fleshed out more when you return to your abandoned oil rig with Ocelot (Troy Baker) who helps you fine tune your mercenary skills at «mother base».
The newest Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game includes a brand new story, new items, simple
tutorial for new inexperienced
players, references to past Mystery Dungeon games, and the fact that ALL 720 Pokemon can be added to your team as you go on
missions!
Aside from a barebones Arcade mode with an unfairly difficult giant boss battle, there is an offline Versus mode that can only be played two -
player local and a
Mission mode that amounts to an extended combo

I actually would recommend
players try to make it through the
missions before starting in on assault or endless modes because they serve as a great
tutorial for some of the strategy required to do well at higher difficulty levels.

tutorial quest chain — an interesting and canonical diversion that vastly improves the new
player experience — you'll settle into a routine of picking
missions from a massive list of different planets from your space ship hub, at which point you'll be grouped together with three fellow Tenno and sent into battle.

Multiple game modes: Hone your skills with various
tutorial missions, battle against computer controlled opponents, or engage in epic campaigns and tournaments against other

There needs to be more draw to early adopters: a few single
player missions outside of the
tutorial would have given more opportunity to get to know the game better.
Hitman, besides a couple prologue
missions that act as a
tutorial, only comes with one main story quest set in Paris that tasks the
player with taking out two targets at a fashion show.
Other single
player options include
tutorials for each ship you unlock and «Where's Waldo» mode which has you searching the same levels you played in the
missions (minus any enemies), only you are tasked with finding salvage and «memories», the former of which expands on the universe and characters that interact with you.
You get a
tutorial mission, but like many games of its ilk, it's not really indicative of what it's like to fight against real
players.

Tutorial
The beginning parts of the gameplay are mostly
tutorial related, and
players learn how to direct the Pikmin around as well as receive the main
mission of recovering 30,000 Sparklium in order to escape the planet and head back home.
The single
player demo contains the game
tutorial, two campaign
missions, one sandbox scenario, and a modest population cap of 500 Tropicans.
EVE: Gunjack starts with an optional
tutorial or the first
