Atleti's form is better, the best
players are on the top of their game, and the Calderón atmosphere will certainly help.

Save if the present Gunners save themselves from going out
of this season Ucl to Barcelona, the Boss and the Arsenal Board MUST
re focus their focus

Iwobi recked my head last night he
was weak and misplaced many passes he cant seem to control the ball its always running away from him he should not
be in the middle in the middle you need good ball controllers with good eyes for passes long and short
on the ground and above the ground >> > waterford yesterday
were on top of us with no space giving to our

were scattered all over the place with no vision or leader ship too goals in the space
of 3 minuets ok the first goal

He certainly did a Giroud when coming
on against Leciester
on Friday and Ramsey has had his fair share
of injuries which have often come about from a busy schedule
of games, so perhaps he could
be an impact
player for Arsenal from midfield just as the big Frenchman
is up
top.
Bottom line, if he
is angered bench the
players who
were not good enough and play those who deserve some
game time based
on the Southampton
game or
on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid
player of the club, your given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even more money with a new contract you can't play like that ever and go AWOL)- Put Sanchez
on the wing or up
top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track back near enough for the Alsonso goal)- Iwobi has
been bright from the wing let him play there - Xhaka has to go back in the holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin because he could've taken a foul
on the hazard's goal.
Alexis came with a good spirit, seing Ozil
on board, thinking a team would
be built around them but year after year, it
is no
top class addition with a guessing
game plan, weakness all over the pitch,
players out
of position, a team scared to play and lost as manager... Sanchez then started to ask more money, we said no as to Ozil; waiting 6 month later to
be on last year contract... The all management
is nuts and Alexis or any
players try until they get fed up, Ozil plays to get fit for wrld cup and his value back...
the problem with arsenal
is the fans we forget very easily think about the

Even the title I have put at the
top of this post could
be seen as a bit
on the harsh side
on the 28 - year old, as he scored 19 goals for the Gunners last season, at a ratio
of just better than one every other
game, and he already has three for the new season so far, despite
being well down the pecking order
of forward
players available to the boss.
As a result, it would surely require a
player to head out first to make space for Werner, but having spent so heavily
on their attack, it
's only logical that they address their issues at the other end
of the pitch given that they possess the worst defensive record
of the
top seven Premier League sides this season having conceded 36 goals in 27
games.

Spot
on bro... the problem with most
of us Arsenal fans
is that we've
been made to accept average as our only option after
been promised by Gazidis and other members
of the board that we will compete with
top European clubs... i feel some
players need to
be allowed to go in order for better ones who
are ambitious and hungry for titles to come in... and someone made mention
of Giroud saving Arsenal in a few
games like the countless chances he
's missed that could have put the club in better positions could
be equated right... he should have done that against Watford, west brom and the rest... truth
be told..
Our best football this year
was played when Ramsey
was on the wing, obviously a full line up
is the main reason for that but like I say Ramsey keeps the
game flowing along with our other
top players and right now Its getting a bit annoying watching the stop start nature
of our
game.
That
's how title winning teams should
be in the mental sense, unfortunately Wenger can't get most
of his
players to give 100 % each
game, part
of this
is because he still relies
on certain
players that
are nowhere near good enough to
be starters for Arsenal let alone a
top 4 club.
That
was something that Jose said, he decided
on Lukaku as Lacazette isn't a big
game player... then I seen a stat
of 5 goals in 35
games against the
top 6 for Lukaku.
everyone with common sense knows that all the
players will
be playing a big part in arsenal challenging for titles except may
be our defenders & goalkeeper who will play in all our important
games otherwise we will see a lot
of different combinations used in midfield & attack during the season depending
on the opposition or if it,
s a cl
game to
top the group or when it,
s been decided already, a cup
game or when we have to play twice in a week, injuries, loss
of form....
Francis Coquelin
was on top of his
game for me — and overall all our
players contributed brilliantly.
On paper you would think that playing Forest would
be an easyish task, considering they have won only one
of their last 8
games in the Championship, but League form goes out
of the window when it comes to the FA Cup, especially when Wenger
is forced to play some second string
players to help the First XI team regain some strength for the
Top Four challenge.
It
's funny how he said we
are better than Liverpool overrall forgetting that in terms
of players we
were still better than them last season yet the beat us home and away.Liverpool team
is not so good yet out
of all the
top four team they
're the ones who play their hearts out. That
's why Liverpool didn't lose a single
game to a
top four team last season though
on paper they should have.As for Tottenham if you look at their team they just need a few more signings and consistency so I don't know what
's the big deal about them. The painful this
is they could've won the league if not for draws. It
was a disgrace for any
of those two to finish over us last season because
on paper it shouldn't
be so.This should tell you that it
's not all about the team you have. Some it
's about luck, sometimes it
's about giving your best and sometimes it
's just meant to
be.
whatever the assessment
of last five years (It
was clear to me back then that his managerial style would not deliver
top trophies given the
players he
was promoting) when excuses about what happened ten years previously and the budget constraint don't apply his performance this year should
be enough to see his reign come to an end... Football clubs that rely
on past glories have no place in the modern
game... ask villa fans
I love the
player... when
on top of his
game he
is world class: the touches, the vision, the ability to score
on occasion, the participate both offensively & defensively he
's the full package as a box - to - box midfield.
If the first XI
is off the boil, we should
be seeing more
of the likes
of Iwobi or Campbell, and in future years we have a whole line
of players who
are out
on loan working
on their
game, one can hope many
of them will blossom into
top quality
players.
No matter what happened in the other Premier League
games set to
be played this weekend, there
was always going to
be a lot
of pressure
on Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal
players after our side had fallen out
of the
top four and into the worst position at this point
of a season for over 10 years.
If only Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal
players had prepared properly for the first two Champions League group
games against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos then we could now
be sitting
on top of the group.
Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal
players are under severe pressure after crashing out
of the Champions League and slipping out
of the
top four
of the Premier League in recent weeks, although there
is the cushion
of knowing that we have two
games in hand
on fourth placed Liverpool and would go back above them if we win them.
Arsenal Fans
are most afraid fans ever, If Wenger leaves we will never
be great again, LOL Everyone
is looking Swansea
game, look Arsenal from different angle, we
are in this position last 9 years, we
are not able to beat big teams, and how can someone blame
players LOL, i ve never seen that
player is sacked, we fans
are afraid
of change, and that
is normal, but change will come, like it or not, Wenger getting new contract
is biggest mistake, its so obvious that he cant do his job
on high level, he can keep arsenal in
top 4 but never win it again, so ask yourself, do you want every year to lie yourself about winning or accept mediocre, your choice!!!
Say what you like admin.Even Diaby upon doing nothing for several seasons
was able to secure a move to Marseille which to me
is a
top team.
Was it not last season that before he went to Bournemouth teams like Juventus and AS Roma
were interested in him?He just needs a league which
is not physical for the mean time.I mean any time he gets a run
of games he begins to hit
top forn and just when things
are looking up things go down again. This injury thing
is a menace in our club.Look at the number
of games Gnabry has played. But I will urge him to leave Arsenal because all he needs to do
is to remain injury free.It
's not rocket science. If Wilshere remains injury free for just one season he'll
be great.It
's just like the Van Persie case.A lot
of people
were frustrated with him and cllled him man
of glass but I knew he just needed to
be injury free for one season. To me he
's a better
player than Ramsey though Ramsey
is on form.He also has the ability to surpass Cazorla and
be Arsenal
's number one.He
's also Arsenall thrugh and through.Arsenal has to solve his injury problems because he
's shown that when he gets a run
of games he can do it.
Rosicky remains one
of my favourite
players, but when it comes to shoes,
on the other hand, it
's worth remembering that in a
game of two halfs at the end
of the day, the cream always floats to the
top, so if you
're looking for someone to blame, we
're in great shape for the season after next....
A club run by joe Lewis lol when
was the last fuking time Spurs won a trophy give it a fuking rest Wenger has won more trophies then spuds in their whole fuking history Sick
of plastic fans constantly knocking the manager and
players like you
are fuking genius experts in knowing all about football We have the worst fan base in football a bunch
of ingrates Why would any
top player come and join Arsenal when they see how fans treat their own
players like ozil Lol at people talking about Spurs and pool fukers don't win any trophies but their fans stay loyal ours turn nasty every
game werther we win or lose It won't change even if we get a new manager they will turn
on him at first defeat What we need
is for the vocal minority
of plastic key board fans to fuk off and stop bringing the club down Coyg
Let's face it Arsenal fans, our German international star Mesut Ozil
is not the sort
of player who
is going to win you
games on his own, as the club's other
top star and possible contract rebel Alexis Sanchez has the ability to do.
Felt exactly the same way, maybe not like crying but certainly frustrated seeing how other clubs acquire our
players and make them fit perfectly
on their
game, Jenk and Song covering the back and well now feel like crying, FAB leader in assists commanding the Midfield and responsible for Chelsea
being on top of the league, meantime let's face it, lately our
players are running
on the pitch like wild geese with no clear tactics, abusing this tiki taka BS, running thru the middle like rams with no clear options, getting injured in the process and we all know why and who
is responsible, enough said...
As boring as I sound, like a broken record, the patient Arsenal fan will bear with another article in this manner and I
am sorry that I have to repeat myself, but until we address the real problem, I feel like a review
on a
game where 15
of the 22
players on the pitch looked like they
are already
on holiday
is just pointless while Arsene
is delusionally happy with the
top 4.
Without sounding like Arsen Wanger bashing most injuries
are because
of not having a choice
of good
players on the bench for rotation (not good enough in terms
of for a
top club) so he keeps playing his best 11 if they
are not injured and we all know what happens after a while what with international duties and CL other cup
games they start cracking,
I understand what you
're saying bounty hunter, but I feel like the week prior to big
games should
be enough time to at least tweak our formation slightly or employ a certain tactic, whether it
's counter attack with less possession or playing with two strikers up
top instead
of the lone striker, I would hope that
players at the level required for arsenal would
be able to adjust to this as it seems I tend to hear other teams coming away from big wins uttering phrases like «we worked
on the manager
's ideas this week and executed them well», I cant remember our
players saying this for a while.
I hope I
'm wrong but this could
be the most damaging win when it comes to transfers... winning 1
game, after about 20 minutes
of really good play,
is of little consequence in the grand scheme
of things... only those with the most selfish
of intentions would suggest otherwise... the only reason we
're even in this predicament, where
were celebrating our first victory
of 2018 against a bottom half squad who
is managed by possibly the only individual more antiquated than our manager,
is because
of Wenger's ridiculous mishandling
of his contract last year combined with his mishandling
of the contracts
of our
top players this year; a fact that he himself admitted to... so before you get too excited about the possibilities
of our current roster don't forget what has happened over the last several years and pray to the gods
of football that real quality reinforcements like Auba
are on the way, which could have happened years ago for less money and we might have
been holding a trophy
of some significance, or this brief respite will
be followed by the usual mediocrity and stagnation
He
is their only
player to have played every
game and he has
been Man
of the Match in four
of them, helping Sevilla to
be level
on points in the Spanish league with Barcelona and
on top of their Europa League group.
«They
are top players, I consider the form, the
game on the day but at the end
of the season both will have played their share
of games.
Anyway it
is the first
game, but back to reality for all those who thought we
were going to win the league or
were contender... Same old Arsenal (and Wenger) not bringing the
players we need and gambling
on guys like Welbeck (sh*t
player), Wilshere (eternal hope, but will never
be top) and more
of the same Wenger craps!
We
are at the
top and its important we cement this position if we intend to become champions
of this league, our long term injured
players can not
be depended
on to win the title, when they may need 5 or more
games to get into
top gear, which may cause the lost
of valuable points, so this janaury window may
be the most vital window for arsenal in many years.
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass
of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to
be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a
top player has to possess a more well - rounded
game, which doesn't mean they need to
be a beast
on both ends
of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their
game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early
on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best
of our soft - spoken star... obviously that
's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it
's important to make note
of a few things: (1) his best year
was a transition year for many
of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually
were and (2) Wenger
's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out
of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss
of Cazorla, who took a lot
of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and
was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk
of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club
's inability to surround him with the necessary
players to succeed, especially for someone who
is a pass first type
of player; as such, this simply highlights our club
's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I
'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there
is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments
of greatness undercut by long periods
of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
After we gave Chelski a good spanking last season in probably Conte's fifth or sixth
game in charge he immediately
re organised them and went through till the new year unbeaten. He had them very solid at the back and scoring goals for fun.And all this with a squad
of players he inherited and their
top striker Costa wanting Away. They ended up romping to the Premiere League Title scoring loads more goals and conceding far less than Wengers Arsenal. We by the way
are treading water at best this season and would not bet
on us finishing above Chelski even allowing for the season they
are having.
Hardly surprising that so many
of Europe's
top clubs
are keen
on the Germany international really, because he
is one
of those rare
players that can change a
game on his own.
I agree with you the
players need some heat to perform to theor abilities and stop wasting created opportunities to kill
games and or hold onto leads and i agree they need some heat to kick em in the arse to prevent them from under performing against milan but milan isnt city or chelsea but we need to beat them to get far in competition but i do nt think the
players missing chances this year
is whole heartey down to the manager and we need to finish out the year strong but with cazorla comong back and strengthening some spots in off season and now praying we finally have jack back this squad looks dangerous next year and wenger will have a good year with arsenal next year cazorla and another
player will take time off xhaka and or put more pressure
on him to perform but we have had success in recent seasons barley missing out
on top four last year with highest points to ever miss out yes they need heat to perform strong rest
of year but it
is not wengers time to go yet
be needs another season and if these two years
are falling off we have done better than
are rivals in
are tough years
There
is the
top four and the Champions League
of course, but Wenger and the
players should
be intent
on avoiding the two play - off
games that fourth place entails.
