If we start this

in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one of these
players should still be with our club
at this
point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this team for a number of years... this is what I call the «no man's land» of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young
players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead of developing a team with the qualities necessary to excel
in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a team who plays
players out of position so often... of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work for a team of any consequence ever again

why was Sanchez truly playing... no one believes he was too injured to play to start the
season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured
at all... so why play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor
at this club except when «panic buys» were
in the offing... I believe that this was to give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the greatest chance to secure 3
points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best
player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly
in it for quite some time... even
at the end of last
season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who played for Chile and the one that played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... I've supported your attempt to push this squad to the next level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up like this club, on the outside looking

In fact it's his constant willingness to move this transfer window that has made Aulas concede defeat in keeping him at Lyon.He seems to have his heart set on a move away this season than ever.I've also not heard another club competing with Arsenal for his signature hence this is his likely destination.Aulas at this point in time would also want no stumbling block in the deal and would want everything done quickly after seeing how Laca wants to move.I'm 100 % sure Lacazette will be an Arsenal playe

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look
at our current
players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system...
at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last
season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off -
season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some
points in the latter part of last
season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless
at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the
season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and,
at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
At the risk of getting bashed I am not entirely sure he is «World Class» either, but he has clearly been our best player for most of the year and would probably have been better lately if he had gotten a bit of rest in at some point in the middle of the seaso

Wenger has achieved a huge amount for the club and although some of it was set prior to his arrival and some of it was an extension of his initial success the fact that winds up most of the anti wenger fans is that the club IS spending money and IS trying to rebuild after a long time
in the wilderness, but when it comes to the spending on
players its always the CHEAPER option
in the most important area's Chips Keswick Boasted a # 100» 000 000 war chest during last summers closed
season and stated that the club could buy any
player they wished (Apart from the worlds top
players at that
point Messi) yet instead of spending the money
in area's that needed drastic improvement Wenger opted for the cheaper replacements and spent just over half of the money allocated.
We must apreciate this. Now we don't have financiar problems anymore and this is clearly can see.We was
at under 10
points to be champions and improve our place, and that with
players like Flamini, Giroud, etc.Now let's see what happening
in this transfer summer, if Wenger buy some quality midfielders, strikers and defenders, I am 100 % sure that next
season we will win PL.
people are
pointing out that is Kroenke's fault but the reality is Koroenke did not buy yaya Sanogo, Kallstrom, Park Yung and last year Takuma Assano (loaned to germany) to mention few of the average
players got
in transfers.Kroenke gave 100 million last summer so why not going for Abumayang
at that time for 60 - 70 millions or Lacaztte (40 — 50 reports
in Spain indicate he's going to Atletico) and another 30 - 40 millions for DM (we got Xhaka but i believe next
season the guy will be much better) so the lack of reinforcing the Key positions needed is his fault.
I think the
point to all of this is if you sign your

Having said that, the boss has been very pleased with the desire and determination to win that the Gunners have been showing this

The way this

season makes you think if AW would have paid for 3 outfield

Well im not
in a wonderland he has his failings as we all do and great teams find a way to win good teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the
point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive watched the games were an offensive team most the time although were terrible
in the pissing rain but for the most part the game plans have worked weve created chances quality scoring chances one after the other problem is for me the finishing unless we sit back with 9 man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will give up a goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our strikers have failed to kill the games if we create quality chances and grab leads
in the first 60 minutes like we have for the most part and
in those games those games should of been killed even if we give a goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that quality
in front goal a
player the chances have been there im looking
at the failure of the strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored as many goals recently as our strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one
in th first 60 mins of a game alongside them then were tired for last 40 give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this
season not the tactics but the finishing
Okay as Arsenal fans we probably now have to admit that Chelsea deserve to be Champions this
season after becoming the ONLY team to stop us scoring
at home, and maintaining their ten
point lead
at the top of the Premiership, but do they really deserve to have six
players in the PFA Team of the Year, while Arsenal only have one?
According to Le Prof, the club has an insight for the
player to make his first appearance of the
season at some
point in January, which will be coming up close to almost a year out of professional football.
As Wenger explained yesterday after winning our seventh game
in a row against Liverpool: «We missed important
players at the start of the
season where we dropped too many
points.
That's a lot of games combined with the regular
season and international play (which many top
players participate
in), so you have to wonder if Pittsburgh will run out of gas
at some
point, especially given how it has walked the tight rope winning games despite losing the possession battle.
If u are an arsenal fan u wil realise there are two parts
in an arsenal
season... the first part is when we are winning and we think that we are the best team
in the world
at that
point Wenger is a god and every Arsenal playr is a world class
player at this
point also Arsenal need no signings... then the 2nd part is when reality hits us hard
in the face, we are eliminated
in all competetion injuries come
in and everyone is singing WENGER MUST GO... haha i ges
at this time we are
in the 1st part, we nid no signings and the squad is good enaf, there will be no injuries the whole
season and Arsenal will win the EPL and the Cl next year hehe!
there is some suggestion that wenger is backtracking on his fervent stance regarding what
players would be staying
at the club for the remainder of the
season... some might deduce that this is all part of a much bigger, more elaborate plan... by shifting the blame wenger is attempting to, not so slyly, flip the narrative... by doing so he hopes to evoke empathy from his most ardent supporters, while attempting to rally any fence - sitters, whose faith was waning unless a more legitimate agent of blame emerges... unfortunately, and incredibly insulting to the fans, when wenger attempts to spin a tale and / or tries to eat his own words, he doesn't seem to play it all the way through
in his head, so invariably gaping holes emerge... say we believed his version of the truth, would that not make him either an incredibly well - paid custodian of destruction or a spineless jellyfish because what manager worth his weight
in salt would stay
at a club that didn't give him final say after 20 years of supposed «success»... no matter the answer, neither bodes well for us... how ironic,
in a way, since many pundits claim this team has lacked a «spine» for some years now... so whether we win, lose or draw on Sunday is frankly immaterial, as the problems will remain, and although it will be easier to digest if we left the Pool with 3
points, it might just be the worst result for the betterment of this club... a fact that both breaks my heart and baffles the mind
