Our focus is on getting
players of good character.

A
good example: I've been playing a videogame
of late with a combination Greek / fantasy pantheon in which the
player -
character is a very faithful servant
of a particular goddess, knows other gods exist (because killing them / beating them up is the main plot
of the game), and winds up with an ally who can clearly see that the gods exist but only cares about following himself — so there's a mix there
of misotheism with a few
of the gods (they are there, but they're evil), faithful worship (serving a
good goddess), and nay theism («You gods are selfish jerks, I'm going my own way!»).
Wenger as usual has his head in the sands and is too busy spouting his memorized usual garbage about mental strength and
character of the team.instead
of facing the reality that once again he has placed his trust and by large the clubs ambition in
players who just aren't
good enough....
but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is changing, something some
of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but only for a «get the f epl once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try... first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind
of player we need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has
character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full
of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not going in our way (something wenger cant do because
of his age and because he has never been an active coach on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish
well, is a demostration
of a change, and a
good one... lets take care
of winning things and do nt look the economic side for once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid... lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..
How terribly sad... we have fallen so far that we find ourselves in the ridiculous position
of propping up the oft - injured and rarely inspirational Jack Wiltshire... what's next, extending Walcott, Welbeck and Ramsey... can't you see that these
players have nothing to do with winning and all to do with providing recognizable names to the plastic fans who frequent our overgrown library
of a stadium... it's high time we rid this club
of one
of the worlds most incompetent and unsuccessful owners (look it up) and our fragile and spineless manager (much like our club) who can't bring in the
best talent because he knows he can't live up to expectations that come with
players of that ilk... think about it, he couldn't even handle Sanchez, who was largely a periphery
character in Barcelona
Maybe this just shows that Mourinho is a feisty
character who did not get on with this
player, but we have seen a lot
of this sort
of thing and we have also heard a lot about how
well Wenger's
players respect him.
But if Wenger wants a smaller no
of players, a tight nit group,
well then yes I could see the sense in selling Elneny and bringing in a
player of big quality, stature and
character.
but, here's a little reminder
of his importance (i) upon arrival his was the goal that catapulted into th CL; (ii) when others were tired and unable to respond he has the strength
of character to fight to bring us into the game; (iii) he scores the goal to save us face in FAC after last seasons fiasco; (iv) he is without equal our
best player so he already earned the right to be in the highest bracket
of epl strikers, we need sanchez desperately we've no choice other than to pay # 320K + and build into his deal performance rated enhancements so as we're all able to move forwards.

best players and brings in a bunch
of hapless
characters from the french leagues and refuses to strengthen in the places where there were obvious deficits..

players that are not

characters, driven by success with lots
of titles behind them, change our ambition to titles, not fourth, reduce immense ticket prices, stop being a business rather than a football club, introduce younger members to the board or unbelievably somehow change the manager, I will not be convinced.

Sanchez gives his
best every game — He shows
character of a person that gets upset when the team looses or are playing below par, Ozil is a
player of enormous talent but needs to have the same hunger that Sanchez has to win trophies... NO one
player is bigger that an entire club.
Joining a club
of arsenal s stature has its ups and downs. There is a requirement
of how our
players should perform when on the pitch. The following is a list
of players who were wrong to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured
of all
players at the club now.I cant help but think how it would have gone for Him if he decided to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him to get used to the rythm
of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been
better off at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented
player from southampton with raw talent. He was very
good at first but wenger found a way to reduce his level
of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented
players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented
player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his
character modelled. That and he was ready to become a world beater. But wenger decided to let him run and run like a headless chicken causing him to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened to him gad he decided to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much
better player than this.Theo walcott - Another
player who was tipped to have a very bright future. He had it in him.But all he needed was an appropriate manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top
of that another
player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his
character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms
well just recently. But imagine all the legendary
players he was often compared to during his time at real madrid. On coming to arsenal he found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for
players. And when at arsenal you have to be your own manager. You need not rely on your manager otherwise you might continue being the same
player for the next many years. That is why each and every
player are what they are because
of their own efforts and wenger had nothing to do with it.Van persie was the same
player for over 7 years untill he himself decided to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is in your court. It is not what so many people make it out to be.Thats why we need to pressure wenger more than our own
players. They are their own self managers and wenger needs to take that responsibility

of Arsenal
players and the manager have heaped praise on the youngster for
character and personality as
well as his ability so I don't think he will wilt under the pressure

Hey SoOpa AeoN you got a cool but yoy don't talk cool at all along with rkw.I didn't like the way Chicarito's name was rubbed in the mad and what pains me is that you all think Giroud is better. The fact that you are a team reject does not mean you aren't
good enough or can't be world class.Do you want me to name a few rejects who have become world class or have come back to haunt their teams. If I was to choose between sticking with Giroud or Chicarito for thousand years we all know who people would go for.The over hyped average
players in our club is unbelievable and it's just sad.The club is also over hyped at times and we feel like we are so so big. It's a shame. The mentality
of this club is so so bad and trust me with this
characters success will be far away for centuries to come.

Let's get the facts straight here.He never demanded # 400,000 a week. All that is just media talk. However, I support your point
of the fact that him going does not mean disaster. We've survived with far
better players leaving you know.If Arsenal had replaced Van Persie the season he left we would've challenged them for the title that season. However, at that time we were financially poor and had to settle for some second rate
players.Now we are in a
better financial position and I expect us to be more ambitious and that involves trying as much as possible to replace any
player who leaves. This doom prediction doesn't show the
character of a top club.Even Chelsea won't behave like how we do if they lost Hazard.I hate the way Arsenal allows
players to treat it.I actually thought only smaller clubs behaved that way.
Hope this one doesn't pan out the only African
player we should be going for is Keita other than that it makes no sense to me, there are so many wingers
better than a one season Mahrez (dembele, Brandt, Lemar, pulisic, berrardi the kid from sassuolo, Forsberg, Marco asensio, Douglas costa, Allan saint maximin, the list goes on) plus all I read was how
good his dribbling skills and the occasional goal or two, I also have seen him play and as soon as things get tough his head drops that's what I mean by lazy no
character, no fighting spirit and we got loads
of those
players the only one who differs is Sanchez so if he is coming we lose Sanchez, so no sorry I won't be happy with that mediocre replacement!!
What would be high on my list — Is top squad building capabilities, bringing through young
players, competitive nature, bad loser, finds a
good balance with attacking and defending, an eye for a bargain if needs be,
good character judgement, either has winning mentality or looks eager to gain one, respects the hell out
of The Arsenal, and respects loyalty.
If Mr wenger built a team who never lost it tells me he can build a team remember a team consists
of 11 different
characters with different back grounds beliefs and aspirations and problems with another 11 to back them up I remember years ago the press used to talk about arsenal and not having English
players on the field never the less I know off our own fatalities as such we were somehow always coming up little short by injuries to such Edwardo vanpercie and even gas diaby ramsy rosiscky carzola and many more and others that did nt seem to gel
well I am not blind and I know we are not doing
well but to suggest that Mr wenger docent have a clue is totally preposterous and disrespectful
I fail to see how complaining that your
players lack
character and aren't
good enough, that the transfer policy has left you with a poor «mish - mash» squad

character and like Andy said hes one
of the
good guys the game has to offer.

Johnson and Heyman have a script here that deserves
Best Original Screenplay consideration, almost simply for how
well they've created a quartet

well.

best aspect
