worst case scenario we could have easily picked up an injury to our already fragile defensive lines as these defensive
players put bodies on the line in the dying minute goalmouth scramble.
A show of commitment could arguably easily rectify that in the coming weeks, but for a coach who is evidently accustomed to
his players putting their bodies on the line for him, it hasn't gone down well.

As much as we would like our
players to
put their
bodies on the
line, we should also keep in mind that if they do, more likely they will get injured and then they are of no help.
Unfortunately when you have a spirited
player such as McCutchen, who readily
puts his
body on the
line for the benefit of his team, diving, rolling, sliding hard into bases, and breaking up
players, trauma such as this can happen sometimes.
