the players wage structure and how that structure won't bend or give, to any player.
This comment is NOT a criticism of our club, in fact the opposite, for having for once, the determination to compete in what is, though, a ludicrously obscene market place and
players wage structure.

What we need to do from this is to reflect on our
wage bill
structure because if we don't then more problems like these will occur / Also we really have to resolve
player contracts much earlier than leave it to the last year, haven't we learned from this in the past already?
AW's problem is he does not offload
players to recoup money (e.g. Wilshere, Ramsey, Theo, Giroud, Gibbs etc) as well as our stupid
wage structure where
players like Jenkinson are on # 50k.

player's contract are under threat from a strict
wage structure...

player.
It was a drain on the
wage structure and quite a few of the
players in it, like Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Joel Campbell and Lucas Perez were not likely to play much.
Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the
players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class
players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling
wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some
players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other
players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former
player of any real consequence has any important role in the management
structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!

wage structure, which meant that
players like Bendtner, Chamakh, Diaby and Ar $ ene etc were eating up the resources, which was not allocated properly!
Up front we have a few world - class
players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished
player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible
wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the
players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these
players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch
players, which should be the baseline test for any
player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
I fear that once we lose out on the UCL spot, which we most probably will this season, the greedy board will realize that it's more lucrative to fight for the top five with way cheaper

players like Wilshere.
I had followed Arsenal long enough that we have pretty strict
wage structure (the belief of football as a team sport and squad harmony is important) and we never pay over the odd for

wage structure / losing some talent like they did walker this year and likely Kloop will have lost his
player draw after Liverpools continued struggles to be defend well or beat poor teams get continually exposed.
You can argue that Spurs are punching above their weight but they have already started to lose
players - Walker 1.0 gone, Alderweireld refusing to sign a new one to «fit within their
wage structure.»
Whatever your beliefs are regarding the intentions of this club moving forward, don't think for a second that it has to do with appeasing the fans, winning the highest honours and / or changing the stagnant culture that permeates this club... every decision is made for one sole purpose and that is to maintain the delicate balance between Kroenke's unyielding need to acquire more wealth and Wenger's fragile psyche, which is why we have this ridiculous
wage structure that pays deadwood too much and makes it incredibly difficult to attract special
players... personally I believe that Wenger's greatest fear isn't that he won't win a big trophy again but exposing himself to the overwhelming criticism he will face when people discover the totally dysfunctional state of affairs that exist at Arsenal due to his antiquated practices which have gone relatively unchecked and unchallenged since the departure of Dein

players and get one of our best so whats in it for us or are you also giving us that 50 ml on top of them because that would be the only way it could happen.Berbs went because he was a shit and carrick well he was much the same.Difference is now we are closing on you and if we can get a striker in january then we will be even closer so why would our guys want to go there. Also with cry baby rooney getting a massive pay rise how long before berbs, giggs, scholes and the rest are knocking at the door. That was a very bad move by mannure your
wage structure is about to explode out the door and how are you going to pay for that.If Bale was to go there i bet he would be looking at least 150k a week which with rooneys
wage rise seems fair.Add to that his price tag for buying him and well it looks like it could cost you at lot more than 50 ml.I know if i was his agent i would be saying to mannure if you want himyou have to pay him a
wage up there with rooneys. You have shot yourselves in the foot big style with rooney to the point can you now afford to buy any more
players?
