I completed my reviews of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Circle Entertainment's Witch & Hero II over the last few weeks, which put my attention focused on
playing Hyrule Warriors Legends to review.
After
playing Hyrule Warriors, I was eager to see another Nintendo / Koei Tecmo collaboration.
Playing Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on my Nintendo Switch this past week has been pleasant.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is a great game if you haven't
played Hyrule Warriors before.

I played Hyrule to death, and it was awesome.

I played Hyrule Warriors for over 700 hours on the Wii U and unlocked everything and maxed out every character's everything.

While Fire Emblem Warriors is a game that does try to be Fire Emblem in nearly every aspect, at the end of the day it is still a Warriors game, which means if
you played Hyrule Warriors, then expect more of the same.
Those who attended dressed as a character from the Zelda universe had the opportunity to
play Hyrule Warriors, as well as win a free t - shirt and a chance at an original piece of concept art from Hyrule Warriors.
There are still some frustrating aspects, and I'm not sure I'm willing to invest the required time to grind out 100 %, but Warriors fans and those who haven't
played Hyrule Warriors yet will find their money's worth in Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition.
Everything about my experience has reaffirmed something I thought back when
I played Hyrule Warriors originally: this could be one of the best Warriors games, spin - off or not.
While Fire Emblem Warriors is a game that does try to be Fire Emblem in nearly every aspect, at the end of the day it is still a Warriors game, which means if
you played Hyrule Warriors, then expect more of the same.
If you've
played Hyrule Warriors already and want to experience all your favorite characters and Adventure Mode maps in the new game, you'll have to make your way through all the various Adventure Modes all over again.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is an excellent fit for the Nintendo 3DS.
The roster is lacking I'll agree with that as a big Fire Emblem fan, but as a big
Hyrule Warriors fan as well, this is the one of the best Warriors games out there, it looks great, the characters are what you love and the game
play is top notch.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is perfect for those who have not
played the original game.

But luckily, despite some extreme familiarity with
Hyrule Warriors,
Hyrule Warriors Legends and the Dynasty Warriors franchise and spin - offs, I once again found myself
playing hours of
Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition again on Nintendo Switch.
Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition lacks the Performance / Quality Mode options seen in Fire Emblem Warriors, though unlike in that game where I found
playing local multiplayer in Quality Mode to be borderline unplayable, I never had that problem in
Hyrule Warriors, even when
playing split screen, and the resolution appears to be better than what FEW's Performance Mode was, too.
I have
Hyrule Warriors, but never got around to
playing it, and I like Fire Emblem a lot more than Zelda.
Never
played Fire Emblem in my life but I love
Hyrule Warriors so I'm going to get this game.
I am semi tempted to perhaps pick up
Hyrule Warriors but I was never really that impressed with it when I
played it anyway.
Koei Tecmo's Warriors franchise — also known by its Japanese title of «Musou» — has fans the world over, but we'd be willing to bet that quite a few of the people who picked up the superb
Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and 3DS had never
played any of the previous entries.
And with mention of
Hyrule, after a nice 1 million halos earned, I took to adventure mode on
Hyrule Warriors because even now with every skulltula earned, weapon obtained and A ranked accumulated (just two more medals to go), I still love to
play this game and with the Leaked
Hyrule Warriors All - Stars news flying, well that only added to the interest, besides who can resist
playing some good old Zelda?
Turned my internet on, connected the Wii U and commenced my morning of online
playing, and I knew just which three games I would
play, (Splatoon, Bayonetta 2 &
Hyrule Warriors and all in that order.)

Fire Emblem Warriors
plays similarly to the
Hyrule Warriors and any other Dynasty Warriors game, with players utilizing strikes and combos to send enemies tumbling by the dozen.
There's also been lots of game
playing going on, and in my case I've been returning to
Hyrule Warriors for its outing on the Switch, as well as half enjoying State of Decay 2.
The final dlc pack for
Hyrule Warriors is out and having
played as Yuga and Ravio on both versions of the game, I think I'm in Love with Yuga!
The animated cut - scenes are so gorgeous and flawless that they look and
play like an anime movie and while the graphics may not completely carry over to when actually
playing, the details are still HD and better than anything we have ever seen in a Fire Emblem game and even puts
Hyrule Warriors to shame.
Bluntly, it also feels a bit better to
play than
Hyrule Warriors — and until now I've thought of that as the most interesting Musou game ever made.

If you're
playing on an older 3DS,
Hyrule Warriors Legends will have performance issues.
Perhaps the biggest revelation to come from all the
Hyrule Warriors news in released in Japan is that the game will have a two player co-op mode, featuring one player using the TV to
play, while the other uses the GamePad.
In addition to Twili Midna, the Twilight Princess Pack includes new weapons, costumes and an adventure map, so if you
played through the original game, they should contribute to the fun youâ $ ™ ll have in
Hyrule Warriors.
Hyrule Warriors is releasing in Japan in two days, but those of us in the US are going to have to wait until September 26 before we'll get a chance to
play, while those of in Europe will only have to wait until September 19.
During our preview of
Hyrule Warriors at E3, we
played as Zelda to give you an idea of some of her special abilities, since most of the people who
played the demo chose to
play as Link.
I would hope so, although I think most Wii U kiosks should have
Hyrule Warriors to
play.

Hyrule Warriors could have offered many more hours of entertainment with the simple addition of online cooperative
play.
Thankfully, perhaps due to the success and longevity of the Warriors franchise, with refined and established gameplay mechanics rather than new features being built from the ground - up,
Hyrule Warriors is an absolute joy to
play.
