I was glad I did — because Arkham Asylum ended up being one of the best games I've
played —
Rocksteady catching many people off - guard by producing a Triple - A title seemingly out of nowhere — creating a game with a great engine, beautiful visuals and an incredible portrayal of Batman and his enemies — full of the colour and imagination of a comic book, but also dark and gritty at the same time.
When the
Rocksteady rep brought my attention back to
playing the game instead of just admiring it, he directed me to check out Batman's cool new abilities as well as one of Arkham Knight's crowning joys.
After
playing for a while you really do forget you are in a VR simulation and find yourself living in this amazing world that
Rocksteady built.
Speaking of Harley Quinn,
Rocksteady has already announced what content you get if you pre-order the game: you'll get some DLC that'll let you
play as Harley herself.

The latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer shows off
Rocksteady's new mechanic called «Dual
Play», which will let you switch between Batman and his allies, similarly to GTA V.
But for those who are still unconvinced, I spoke with Lead Narrative Designer Paul Crocker of developer
Rocksteady at E3 about the newest Batman game, including
Play as the Joker exclusive to PLAYSTATION 3.
Rocksteady has a great handle on his character (have you
played the Scarecrow segments in Arkham Asylum??)
If I'm going to buy a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting game, then gosh darn it, I better have the opportunity to
play as Bebop and
Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, The Rat King, Metalhead, Leatherhead, Tokka and Rahzar, Groundchuck and Dirtbag... who else am I forgetting?
Moving out into Gotham city proper has given
Rocksteady a considerably larger environment to
play with than the one we say in Arkham Asylum.
I mean, in what other TMNT game can you
play as any of the Turtles at any time, fight iconic characters like Bebop and
Rocksteady, and actually drive around a Turtle Van that shoots cannonballs?
While the rest of us glide above the sordid sprawl of Arkham City scanning for Riddle Trophies, Mac gamers have finally been given the chance to
play the first of
Rocksteady's superb Batman games, Arkham Asylum.
So 10 minutes after watching Assassin's Creed Unity being
played by someone else, I queued up for yet another hands - off demonstration of another big upcoming title:
Rocksteady Studios final entry in the Arkham series.

Rocksteady tells Eurogamer that the co-op takedowns are showing off a a new «dual
play» mode that lets you switch between characters during combat.

With this being
Rocksteady Studios final Batman Arkham game, fans of the series are eagerly awaiting to
play the final Batman game in the Arkham trilogy from
Rocksteady.
The missions are so very very very bad, they are just annoying, it must be 4 year olds
playing this game to think that it has polish and give it good reviews, as a long time Spiderman fan, please give the rights to
Rocksteady because Beenox should not be allowed to make another game, PLEASE!!
The game's developer,
Rocksteady Studios, improved upon the original in every way and gives you one of the most satisfying endings I have ever
played in a video game.
Rocksteady recently revealed that players will be able to
play as other characters in Arkham Knight, including Robin, Catwoman, and Nightwing.
Being able to
play as two characters at once seems like a pretty complicated feature, particularly with the speed of challenge maps, but if there's anyone who can accomplish perfection, it's
Rocksteady.
DLCs proved popular with
Rocksteady's Arkham games, and forcing fans to part with their cash to
play as Catwoman or Nightwing was a crafty way of making more money.
Arkham Knight has been a fitting send off to the Dark Knight so far, and I have been feeling almost a sense of nostalgia whilst
playing, as sections feel similar to the previous two
Rocksteady Batman titles.
The soundtrack features a sample from the chorus of
rocksteady singer's Alton Ellis» song, Blackman's Word,
played on a loop throughout the film's first three acts.
