Admittedly, Liverpool's defensive shape for the opening 37 minutes was hardly archetypal, but when
playing against the best attacking side in the league at home, I'd be surprised to find anyone who thought Agüero, Jesus, Silva and De Bruyme were not going to cause Liverpool problems.

Mertesacker is the type that will win headers that go towards him, but if he has to move for it then he's in trouble, but he's very
good at positioning himself so it's not that big a deal, though when he does get caught out it seems to stick in my head for a while, like
against Anderlecht... Players like Koscielny and Gabriel are a lot more mobile, they move and
attack the ball when it's
played into their area.

Bellerin's pace could be a massive factor
against their counter
attacking as

play and will that ensure that the points are ours?

attack, something like Klopp did with BvB seasons ago, Ozil vision, Walcott speed and Sanchez class can defeat anyone, passing is

playing against us, Look back at our
best teams and we have always had players that will get back and cover and can tackle and win balls in the middle of the park, So many of our midfield now can, t even get back never mind win the ball back when we need it, It is NOT about the price of players it is all about buying players that can balance a

against Man united Cech (No word he has shocked me, Wow this guy is too great for a team with wenger as coach) Bellerin (He really has to improve his
attacking side nd try to take on defenders) Chambers (Hez really
good against de big guns & always gud in de middle of de park) Kos (Hez been a bit de-moltivated due to wengers lack of ambition hope Man u will do) Mon (link - up with walcott on the left would be breath of fresh air) Coq (great tackler, stamina & power) Ramsey (great passer of de ball, professional & great stamina) Sanchez (on the right, so he won't always
play predictably) Walcott (thats where he was effective the last time
against man u) Welbeck (Pace, goals & trickery) Giroud (Power, bully, link - up & goals) 4 -4-2 formation
A 4 -3-3 system is favoured by Barca, Real Madrid and Man City and Bayern, the top four teams in Europe. It suits the
attacking philosophy of Arsene Wenger which is to his credit.Unfortunately we do not have the top quality defenders these teams have nor a dominant DM.Nevertheless it is the
best system for our current team which is top heavy in
attacking midfielders hence the need to
play Ozil and Mik in wide positions. In my opinion the most balanced central midfield would consist of Elneny, Ramsay and Wilshere.Elneny was first class
against Watford yet was left out
against an average Milan side to accommodate the ever present Xhaka who will no doubt feature
against CSK.

I wud set up as the usual 4 / 2/3 / 1 but with the

play more of a 4 / 2/2 / 2.
