Up front, the bucket seats are supportive and comfortable, with
plenty of elbow room and lots
of little storage cubbyholes,
including a small pocket - change compartment that kept popping open next to the driver's knee.
Be that as it may, the Avalon's interior is otherwise exemplary: first - rate materials (
including supple dove gray leather in my fancy XLS test car),
plenty of head and
elbow room (thanks to those small dimensional increases),
plenty of places to stow small items, easy ingress and egress and excellent seats, despite the absence
of lateral support.
