Director Rian Johnson kept a lot of ideas and
plot elements out of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, including Luke Skywalker's reported third lesson for Rey, Supreme Leader Snoke's origins, and that time a porg sliced its head open with a lightsaber.

Maybe that shouldn't be surprising, given that the computers which fired
out the initial ideas had first been fed reams of data on the
plot elements, time periods, settings and character types which go into the creation of a successful musical.

out the original film's

elements are really the only thing that sets this apart from the countless other cop - tracks - down - a-killer movies
out there, because for all its clichéd
plot points and stock characters, it's obvious screenwriters Robert Fyvolent, Mark R. Brinker, and Allison Burnett are more concerned about coming up with graphic death scenes than anything else.
Typically, the action horror genre is not my thing, especially one that borrows
elements from better movies and throughout its installments has turned
out quite a convoluted

out as Henry Turner's (Brenton Thwaites) quest to free his cursed father at sea Will Turner (Orlando Bloom in a glorified cameo along with Keira Knightley as his partner Elizabeth Swann) to locate the Trident of Poseidon subsequently lifting that curse, and while the ultimate goal of the movie for all characters is finding said artifact for different reasons, by the end it's hard to fault the audience if they have forgotten all about that
plot element and are just living in the moment of Jack Sparrow and company battling an army of decomposing, undead ghost pirates led by Captain Salazar.
Monster House is by no means as slow as that, but does deliberately lay
out the crucial
plot elements bit by bit until reaching a gloriously outrageous (yet at the same time satisfying) climax.
Part of the film's charm is its self - effacing nature and willingness to point
out the absurdity of certain

out her disguise, the eerie existence of Psycho Mantis, his goddamn ominous theme, plus all the ambient sounds within the game itself — it was just so full of moments that all seemed like isolated but big events, like remembering scenes and
elements from a film.
It adds a slight survival
element to the game which is not pronounced enough to become annoying but encourages you to move forward with the
plot and be mindful of your supplies when venturing
out in to the wilderness.
While fans of the previous games in the Monkey Island series may get the biggest laughs
out of the twisted
plot connections across the trilogy while reminiscing
elements that are oddly familiar, no previous knowledge of the Monkey Island series is needed to enjoy this game wholeheartedly.
It was very compelling putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together in this story and figuring
out what all of the scattered
plot elements lead up to.
