On the other hand, the
game suffers
from a bad narrative and wrong division to acts, despite its great
plot, and the many side missions begin to feel repetitive at some
point.
Savvy horror - thriller viewers should stay away
from Gothika, as it telegraphs its

from three different heads as your player character, and solving the mystery of who you are and why you're the only human left is one of the major
plot points of the
game.
It is perhaps unfair to dock
points for this, as pretty much every fantasy RPG follows the same
plot, but I expected more
from a Witcher
game.
That
game might not have been the best choice due to the complicated story that relied on
plot points from its Japan - only predecessor.
The story revolves around a
plot -
point taken
from one of the other sub-plots in the main
game that Aloy encountered while attempting to piece together the mystery of «Zero Dawn.»
When this isn't happening, you might stumble upon a text - box that pauses the
game (and thankfully the timer) so you can get more
plot points that my brain processed as gibberish because it had broken my flow of not - giving - a-shit running
from guards while cackling the whole time.
Anyway, what kind of deep story did you expect
from a movie based on a
game whose only real
plot point is, «Your princess is in another castle»?
The underlying story in Rise of the Tomb Raider is classic to the
point of being familiar, but it's how this
plot unfolds that differentiates it
from the Tomb Raider
games of yore, in a very positive way.
The
game doesn't try to explain
plot points from the previous title, such as EDEN Syndrome or Under Zero, so it might be best for you to play Cyber Sleuth before tackling Hacker's Memory.
All four characters stories intertwine
from time to time, and it's rather cleverly assembled and satisfying replaying the same section
from contrasting viewpoints, though the structure is a bit odd in the fact that, whilst you can play the campaigns in any order, some major
plot revelations related to other campaigns can easily be spoilt, though for all
plot points to become completely clear the
game must be completed in its entirety.
There are some newly recorded lines
from the
game characters, and the missions of the table focus on surviving against the zombie hordes or internal struggle, a major
plot point for the series.
