And even though pocket diapers don't really have a magic poop pocket, they are actually my favorite.
What
pocket diapers do you recommend using with these inserts?
Normally pocket diapers don't come with inserts and you have to spend extra money to get them.
The microfiber / microsuede (that's what's in BGs) in the actual pocket diaper don't hold the smell (at least for me) it's the inserts that do.

Please note, you
do not need covers for
pockets and all - in - one
diapers, since they already have a waterproof outer.
They held about 2 days worth of
diapers (mix of
pockets, prefolds, covers and wipes) and
did an okay job at holding it the smell (formula fed, sprayed
diapers),
did not leak and were relatively easy to wash but I didn't love the two layers.
They're very economical because you don't have to buy as many as you would with
pocket diapers.
I don't think of my daughter as a heavy wetter because she can use a
pocket diaper all night with no doubler even though she wakes up to nurse two or three times.
We don't have any issues with cloth at night and all I use is a prefold sometimes a
pocket diaper.
Trimmest
pocket diaper I've ever seen and it
does not affect the absorbency.
They fit smaller than the other
pocket diaper brands we have, so they didn't last quite as long.
Most
pockets have the
pocket opening in the back of the
diaper near the waist, but some
do have the
pocket opening in the front.
I'm already a fan of
pocket diapers (they happen to be my favourite style), so I don't find stuffing
pockets to be an arduous task to begin with.

There are eight

done using it for

Follow your manufacturer washing instructions to make sure you don't use water that's too hot for the PUL material, and hang your
pocket diaper shells and
diaper covers to dry whenever possible.
What
did work was: Kawaii Newborn Pure and Natural
pocket diapers Prefolds and Flip covers (with hook and loop) These
diapers both have hook and loop closures rather than snaps around the waist, so it was possible to get a tight enough fit to make up for some of the gapping around the thigh.

Diaper — For parents who don't like to stuff
pockets, the AIO style is a favorite.
Also, I really like the two
pocket openings so I don't have to unstuff before putting it in the
diaper pail.
I
do still have quite a few
pocket diapers since it's hard to get rid of your favorite prints, but going forward I am only buying AIO
diapers.
We often recommend
pocket diapers for night - time
diapering because a parent can adjust absorbency by what type of
pocket diaper insert, doubler or prefold they use to «fill» the
pocket, and the microfleece interior keeps baby comfortable, so baby doesn't wake from feeling wet.
You don't have to worry about stuffing like you
do with a newborn
pocket diaper.
We don't use
pocket diapers too much but I
do have them for longer trips ect.
That's one reason I
did cloth
diapers at the beginning with each of my kids, and not the fancy
pocket diapers either.
Don't get stuck on the idea that just because a
pocket diaper came with one insert that it has to work with that one insert.
I
do this on all my
diapers: covers,
pockets and all in ones.
Avoid
diaper backpack that
do not open all the way and have fewer
pockets as it will make you to just pile baby items without order thus making it hard to retrieve them when need arises.
Anyone can
do a search on line and find out all about it — we are using one - size fits all,
pocket cloth
diapers and love the system.
So if you are a stuffer, don't try to buy a
pocket baby
diaper as it won't make you organized.
Sometimes I find that inserts shift around inside
pocket diapers and don't reach all the way out to the elastics, but I didn't find that with this
diaper.

I don't use
pocket diapers as often as I used to, but this is a great
pocket diaper.
Even though
pocket diapers and covers
do have plastics in them they are far preferable to thousands of disposable
diapers which will take hundreds of years to decompose.
Because of the two - part system,
pocket diapers dry much more quickly than all - in - ones, but all - in - ones are more convenient because they
do not need to be stuffed.
While I didn't test Ella Bella Bum's inserts (I opted to use some from my own stash), this
diaper is trimmer than most - partly because it is narrower through the crotch than some other
pockets (ex: bumGenius), and partly because of the light - weight athletic wicking jersey inner stay - dry layer.
This can be
done quickly and it comes with an extra insulated sleeve which makes it very convenient for taking care of babies.This
diaper bag also features lots of functional
pocket including a net compartment for towels and a hidden
pocket with zipper for your keys.

Hat, sunscreen, bug repellent, warms clothes / pj's for chilly nights, smores makins» (yes this is a must have), sleeping bags & blankets to make one big family bed in your tent, life jacket that fits really well,
diapers (we still cloth
diaper if we are camping near laundry facilites), swim
diapers (or we just use a
pocket diaper without an insert and find that it works really well to contain what it needs to and doesn't bring on lots of water), first aid kit, flashlight, rain gear, a way to get clean water (filtering it yourself or access to water at the campground), snacks, and a good campsite.
After
doing a lot of research, I was set in wanting to use
pocket diapers rather than prefold, but decided that if I wanted to be full - blown into cloth
diapering, I needed a small stash of prefolds.
Trips to the beach were also in cloth, and dips in the water were
done with an empty
pocket because we hadn't invested in a cloth swim
diaper yet.
You don't have to stuff AIO cloth
diapers with inserts like you would a
pocket diaper which is nice in my opinion.
There are parents who find a structured tote like a laptop bag and it can work well, but don't forget the fact that original
diaper bags have more
pockets that can be very useful.
Some people don't like
pockets because they're more expensive than two - part
diapers (like prefolds, where you only have to buy a few covers and a bunch of prefolds; with
pockets, you need a whole new
diaper for every
diaper change), but they're less convenient than all - in - ones (where you don't have to stuff or fold or adjust anything).
If I had to
do it over again, I would make the vast majority of my stash Thirsties one - size
pocket diapers.
I was initially confused by this layer of polyester fleece since I didn't understand why polyester fleece functioned differently in hybrid fitted
diapers than it
did in stay - dry
pocket diapers.
