Some parents like to organize their clean diapers by neatly folding them and pre-stuffing
the pocket diapers so they are ready to go (especially for Daddy's and babysitters).
And also bumgenius has been my favorite for
pocket diapers so far.
I'd probably suggest she get one or two
pocket diapers so she can try them out for herself.
I prefer
the pocket diapers so that I can stuff them as needed.

pocket diapers may have several causes, but the most common solution can be focused on just what makes these

I think someone already responded like this in an earlier comment but try using a gbaby insert as a doubler in a
pocket diaper... it'll keep it from being
SO wet for that period of time until you can change him / her in the morning.

What did work was: Kawaii Newborn Pure and Natural

so I don't have to unstuff before putting it in the
diaper pail.

so there's no bunching, it also keeps baby dry if used as a
pocket diaper.

pockets made it
so much easier to separate my most - used items (like
diapers and wipes) from the things that I only use in case of emergency (like Sophie the Giraffe... of course some emergencies require a rubber giraffe.)
So I recommend pairing these with the
diaper Junction stay dry doublers for use inside of covers or pairing them with the
diaper junction microfiber inserts and putting them inside of
pockets.

diapering because a parent can adjust absorbency by what type of
pocket diaper insert, doubler or prefold they use to «fill» the

So the ease of getting that insert out with as little touching as possible is a big factor when comparing
pocket diapers.
Use a wool cover / soaker over anything (even
pocket diapers) If the
diaper leaks the wool will absorb the excess wetness but won't leak —
so even if your
diaper is drenched you still have a chance at dry sheets.
If you use
pocket diapers, you may be able to get away with waiting a little longer because the fleece pulls the moisture away from the skin
so the fabric that touches the baby's skin feels dry to the touch.
So one day when he really bumped his head hard to where he really needed ice, I grabbed one of our
Diaper Dawg wipes and slipped the ice bag into the
pocket.
A
pocket diaper is only designed to hold a few stuffers,
so if you overstuff them, it can affect the leg seal, allowing the urine to roll out of the
diaper.
Once that first wash is done, I check to be sure the inserts have come out of any
pocket diapers, and if there are any Velcro or Aplix closure
diapers in the load, I double check that the fold - back tabs are still secured
so I don't end up with a big chain of
diapers stuck together.
