diapers both have hook and loop closures rather than snaps around the waist, so it was possible to get a tight enough fit to make up for some of the gapping around the thigh.
For one thing, I have mostly
pockets with microfiber inserts, plus four bamboo / cotton inserts, one fitted
diaper, one Bummis cover and a pair of shorts that
work as a cover in a pinch!

pocket diaper without an insert and find that it
works really well to contain what it needs to and doesn't bring on lots of water), first aid kit, flashlight, rain gear, a way to get clean water (filtering it yourself or access to water at the campground), snacks, and a good campsite.
There are parents who find a structured tote like a laptop bag and it can
work well, but don't forget the fact that original
diaper bags have more
pockets that can be very useful.
If you are looking to supplement your cloth
diaper stash with some
