OMG — yesterday I decided you can never be to old to be climbing trees — this one is
a Pohutukawa tree — New Zealand's Christmas tree so it seems fitting and reminded me of my childhood.
So, the tree is decorated,
the pohutukawa is blooming and the presents bought (or at least thought about!)
The kilometer long stunning white sand beach is surrounded by untouched native
Pohutukawa and native forest and is deserted for many parts of the year.
