credit score in the short term, but in the long term it's not a problem at all and my

stores, most people just put their purchases
on a
credit card but to maximize
points, they can purchase some prepaid gift
cards from an office supply
store like Staples.
Instead of simply going to one of those
stores and buying your materials with your
credit card (where you would probably earn 1
point or mile per dollar spent), if you have a Chase Ink
credit card, head
on over to Staples or Office Depot, stock up
on Home Improvement gift
cards to the amount you need (you'll earn 5
points / dollar spent
on the gift
cards) and then spend those
on the materials you need at the home improvement
stores.
This deal is best for those who have one of Chase's Ink
credit cards which give 5x
points on all purchases from Office Supply
stores.
The new Chase
credit card will supply rewards
on all purchases, with a sizable triple reward of 3 percent cash back or triple
points for eligible transactions at grocery
stores, gas stations and fast food restaurants, including merchants like Dunkin' Donuts and 7 - Eleven.
