When using a powder, I like utilizing two
brushes to highlight: a medium sized blush
brush (like # 300 from Real Techniques) for larger areas, like the top of the cheekbone, and an
eyeshadow brush with medium density (think something like the # 217 blending
brush from MAC), for small
points like the bridge of the nose and the cupid's bow.
And then, I applied this All About Alex Shady Lady
eyeshadow from The Balm with this lovely
pointed Marionnaud
brush (my favorite
brush actually!)
You need a smaller
brush to work with the
eyeshadows which kind of gets irritating at one
point.
Simply apply a shimmery white
eyeshadow or highlighter with a small
brush to the inner corners of the eyes and under the brows, particularly at the highest
point of the arch.
