"Pointer breeds" refers to a group of dog breeds known for their exceptional ability to locate and point out game or prey for their human handlers. These dogs have a strong instinct to indicate the location of birds, small mammals, or other targets by pointing their nose in their direction.

Pointer breeds, Airedale, Retriever breeds, Setter breeds, Foxhound breeds, and when it isn't too warm, the Samoyed, Malamute, and Alaskan Husky (who wear especially heavy coats).
The concentration these dogs display when they're on the job is intense, and they certainly can hold their own with the best of
the pointer breeds.
You should make sure you have sufficient water — but that is the same for
every pointer breed if you are a responsible owner.
