Interestingly enough, i think its worth mentioning that the owner of snopes website that wrote and posted this article sits on the board of directors for the animal
poison control hotline, which charges $ 35 to give
information to pet owners who call in when their pet has ingested something that might be toxic and didn't think it was worth mentioning and therefore didn't disclose this at the end of the article which seems they should have done so because it apoears there would be some conflict there.
