In a person with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), IBD or any gut disorder,

Your small intestine is where the majority
of nutrient absorption happens during the
digestion process so if you have a long history
of eating
poor quality foods, cooked animal products, refined salts and
sugars (and let's not forget the alcohol, pharmaceuticals, recreational drugs and cigarettes along the way) then it is very likely you have an impacted intestine.
What's happened is their taste buds have downregulated because
of deficiencies in zinc and
poor digestion and
poor HCl and the higher amounts
of sugar foods, they don't even notice the overpowering
sugar.
That imbalance could be the over-consumption
of processed foods, an overload
of toxins stuck in the body,
poor digestion, food sensitivities, thyroid imbalances, an inability to regulate blood
sugar levels, among many things.
Inflammation that triggers blood
sugar problems can be caused by a number
of factors - but eating too many acidic foods and
poor digestion are at the top
of the list.
These factors include

sugar causing anxiety / irritability, social anxiety or pyroluria, gluten intolerance, caffeine consumption,
poor digestion, low levels
of brain chemicals such as serotonin and GABA and lifestyle factors like lack
of sleep.
