My comment at 9 that economists should be held accountable for
poor policy advice — yes in so far as they are employed in positions with some responsibility for the recommendation of government policies, to the extent that any other public service professionals in like positions would be.
in my opinion a lot of this is very fuzzy thinking, and
poor policy advice.
