Is anyone enjoying this, we look
a poor team playing for a draw so wenger can come out with the usual crap
Not exact matches
He just point a fact, the core of the
team are average british players and yes the blame lays on Wenger first
for playing them out of position with
poor tactic but also by making them the first teamer when their level is not good enough to win big stuff.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a
team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him
for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his
poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of
play is ok
for us but a striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical.
For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much.
For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck
for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
Leo you said remy was crap against spuds but you have got to consider who he is
playing with he is in a very
poor team who create nothing
for him put him in our
team and with chances we create he will score goals he is a natural goalscorer and i think he would do a great job in girouds absence, think we should keep podolski
for extra cover in forward area be realistic we will not get falcao or cavarni therefore remy would not be the worse option!!
Jack was
poor for the majority of the 2013 - 2014 campaign in his preferred position, was then
played out of position wide in an effort to be
played into form (at the expense of the
team mind you) and that's okay.
AKB please answer this, this season we have
played the
poorest spuds
team for years at home and drew and today the
poorest Man U
team in years and lost.in Wenger we trust yeah fu # k off?
I get your point mate. But in truth Ramsey is the CM and Xhaka is the DM according to our formation anf tactic. It's even debatable if Xhaka is capable of
playing DM.I think Ramsey's tactical awareness is
poor but he has every right to take risks and move into the opposition box. He's a box to box player. The only problem is Ramsey overdoes it.If we had a proper CDM the
team would be more balanced. Now it's like we have two CM's
playing in midfield and due to their
poor tactical awareness we're always left exposed.I conclude by reminding people that Wilshere is better footballer and is more intelligent than Xhaka. It'll be better
playing Wilshere and pairing him with a CDM than having Xhaka
play there.He just gets to
play over him becausr we signed him
for # 35.
Fekir can
play on the right, he can
play in the same
team as Auba and Laca if form dictates a 1st teamer should be dropped,
for example Ozil or Mkhi need to be benched due to
poor form.
Debuchy and El Nent were
poor with passing and did nothing to improve their chances to
play for first
team?
lol they have to be
playing for us to know if they are concentrating, AW must be nuts if his saving Sanchez from a burn out
for what and who, Sanchez is going in two months time so use him let him burn out in January in Manchester FFS every
team uses their players back from internationals apart from us,
poor Ramsy
poor Sanchez they don't qualify
for the WC who gives a fluck do we deduct their salaries?
But I have been saying the same thing about Sanchez since last season, his first game in the Charity shield and then that game against Villa earlier last season when he
played striker, I noticed that he was so
poor in possession and can't link up
play with his
team mates, he has the worst passing
for a player of his calibre..
Another interesting statistic in defence of Ozil, would be that football is a
team sport, and that it's sometimes hard
for certain individuals to perform at their normal level when you're
playing in a weakened
team due to injuries or because your
team is a generally
poor side.
donkey though he is, works hard and
plays for the
team but he also frustrates me immensely with his
poor touches, cant dribble and cant score in BIG games.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except
for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency
for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7
teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good
team can afford to have that many average players on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as
for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss
poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Big in your list I can agree that all these players would improve us, but let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender of his quality so he can go and recover properly So then we have Mert, too slow and no longer good enough, I'm not sure if he's even good enough
for 3 rd choice CB, too slow,
poor on the air
for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to
play against average
teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really
play him with MERT as he isn't Kos quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3 fit will still
play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we
play MERT / Reid against the top
teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle
I think next game Ramsey needs to
play in Cazorlas position, Cazorla was
poor in few games, he should be rested, Walcott should start instead of him, maybe even Ozil switch
for Wilshere, Wilshere
played very well, many people critisize him, but only OX and him has that ability to go through players and drive our
team forward.
Deny it all you want but since Fabregas left Arsenal our frre flowing football has really declined. It feels like am the only one who thinks we lack real penetration and ideas in the final third of opponents. Also in 14/15 sesson I lost count of our misplaced passes and
poor gameplay overall. We've been very very
poor in our passing game
for some seasons now.
For a game like this to work you need players whonhold the ball very well and are possession efficient.Look at the Arsenal starting lineup and compare it to that of years back and you'll know what I mean.We have very few possession efficient players which is causing this problem. We don't have many players who can actually hold the ball and
play the ball. That's what differentiates us from the top passing
teams.
Watched a few clips of Wellington Silva recently, its sad his
playing for a
poor club like Bolton, hopefully we send him to a better
team next season
for his continued development.
Truth is many Arsenal fans are living in denial, that's why you get so many thumbs down
for telling it as it is.Apart from the 2 goals we scored, yesterday's performance was
poor considering that we were
playing a hull B
team at home.We kept them in the game
for long periods of time instead of being incisive and finishing them off early when we had the chances.
us scoring in the dying minutes wil keep the overall mood of the
team good
for UCL... This
team played good attacking football but we need DM against Bayern... Case has been a bit
poor lately but hopefully zidane trusts him and starts him...
What that teaches us is this, one bad signing can destroy a
team season, Xhaka possesses none of the credential Arsenal need his lack of stamina effects his ability to move up the pitch and distribute the ball and hence close the opposition down, his
poor acceleration put him in at a massive disadvantage in taking on the one on one chase back toward his goal, his sluggish tackling causes him to get sent off and his
poor positioning allow the opposition plenty of space to exploit, Xhaka overall style of
play is going to cause Arsenal huge problems
for the foreseeable future.
literally saying he is prone to many mistakes
for instance goal misses (1 on 1), retaining possession, hold up
play,
poor goal conversion rate against a «formidable
team», inaccurate passes, struggles when backing a defender (s) and he's not good in the air.
This confounded the already
poor confidence our
team was
playing with and we became even more sloppy with the ball, creating more and more chances
for Spurs.
Aside from the
poor transfers over 10 years, the complete lack of tactics, one dimensional football, being predictable,
playing players out of position,
playing players who should be benched, over
playing players (ongoing injuries), not motivating the
team,
poor youth academy, bad formations set up
for under - performing players and over reliance on tikka tikka possession football, no he hasn't done much wrong!
Thank you
for saying what is obvious.The
team's defending problems is more of tactial than the personnel.I'd be mad if Wenger got another CB because we'll be getting the same outcome due to his
poor tactics.Give Mustafi, Koscielny and Chambers to Simeone and see how they
play.We need most important ly a DM and not a CM.Our CM's wil
play better and I feel with proper motivation and mangement are good enough. What we lack is a DM who can drive with the ball and get himself out of trouble.
By selecting the best players which excludes the likes of Czech and Mustafi. They are the common denominators in virtually all the away defeats to sides below Arsenal in the league.I am not a lover of stats but these are the facts which Wenger chooses to ignore. There is absolutely no point in strengthening other parts of the
team for example by replacing Wilsh ere and continuing to
play Czech and Mustafi.A
team is only as good as it's
poorest player and in Czech and Mustafi we have two of the
poorest exponents in their positions in the Premier League.
Unless there is a huge gulf in class with us
playing against a really
poor team, we should kick goal kicks long and we should try
for balls over the top, that way we are either creating a chance or we are giving them the possession so we can set up to counter.
the
team has been
playing rubbish
for years now, they are urged to improve every now and then after
poor performances, and still they are reminded again and again, don't you think something needs to change?
This should be our
team: Cech Bellerin Koscielny Mustafi Kolasinac Ramsey Elneny / Coquelin Sanchez Ozil Iwobi / Ox Lacazette Wenger must take Xhaka out of the lineup because he can't defend.Don't blame Xhaka
for a
poor performance tomorrow if he's overrun.He can't
play in this kind of matches. It'll be too intense
for him and we'll be overrun. He's massively overrated and another player will surpass him in the future. This lineup will also bring the best in some of our players like Kolasinac and Ozil.
Saying Ozil has been
poor for us is an understatement, in fact he has been very woeful
for the past 10 matches and I totally agree with you that we have been
playing 10 against 11 all these while, he just can't fight
for the ball or his life and whenever he doesn't
play very well, he puts the whole
team in big danger and i still don't know why Araene can drop him
for at least 2 matches and
play Iwobi in his position
Let's face it, it's a
poor excuse
for Giroud not being fit, he's a professional fr crying out loud and players who
played the same amount of games as he did in the world cup are back their
teams and are looking much sharper.
Lately, we have made all our opponents look like quality
teams and that's mainly down to our own
poor display, but
for Wenger to suggest that Sutton can
play at the same pace as the premier league is beyond delusional?
Preseason projections still account
for 30 percent of
teams» ratings, which doesn't help, but neither do Arizona's
poor performance against UTSA or Utah's plodding offense, which has been outgained by the opponent, on a per -
play basis, in every game so far.
Hey Stubill I stay awake far in Japan sometimes by 5 am to watch matches n then we
play like a bunch of kids n after d match Wenger either blames d weather, pitch, D referee, D fans inability to support d
team, fatigue n Even d color of the jersey
for d
teams poor performance..
Wenger blamed the 12 day gap between games as the reason
for Arsenal's
poor start against Liverpool a few weeks ago, then he claimed a lack of confidence
for the start against Lincoln last week, but as most of our first
team played last weekend and scored many goals in the second half then neither of those should apply this time around.
Only way we can go fight with other 4
teams for 2nd and 3rd spot is to bring draxler, gotseka and Luis this winter and unload Sanchez who poisons
team as he is not with us
for almost a year now... He was
played center to stay last year but already fed up with
poor team addition and to do all on his own, score, make differences and lose at the end...

And
for Aaron, if we're being honest, he hasn't been
playing well lately, except
for the first half yesterday against a
poor Gala
team.
I have watched so many Chelsea matches in which Matic was caught out of position with
poor finishing by opponents saving him the blushes, while Wanyama will be a regular red card candidate if he were to
play for a
team like Arsenal.
Well your righ with met spend but in amount paid out
for players no net were 5th but i agree our champions league performances have been
poor we had some tough draws and the premier league is more demanding then the other leagues in strwnght of competition and games
played still excuses do nt win but that monaco loss left me shaking my head in cl we get theough the group but cant muster the strength needed
for knockout and we should be performing better were under performing
for the talent xhaka has frustrated me hes got the talent and
plays well but cant hold focus in games he drops off and loses his marks our academy is doing well but yes it is tougher now to break in to the first
team iwobi has done well but one or two seasons away from being there if he does turn himself elite ever has to score or he will just be another ox but i think its been a wake up call to the club we finally have to act theres a wave of ideas to not only get us back to winning ways but become title contenders and i think give him the extension one year its a world cup year and that will also allow our players esp strikers who been very
poor this year realized its tough to
play in englad and next year will have a better idea what it really takes to win here shore up some spots and depth and were in contention fail and the changes will happen but let him have one more year the fact were willing to spend shows me an upturn from the decline
He thinks he can get Arsenal
playing like the 1970s Ajax
team that he's obsessed with unfortunately
for Mr Wenger they had Johan Cruyff, Rudd Geels, Johan Neeskens and Johnny Rep etc we have Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, and Alex Iwobi not exactly in the mould of those greats but try telling this dried up old has been that, the same man who stuck with Manuel Almunia
for years even though the
poor chap looked like crying at any moment..
I feel so sorry
for Necastle though. It could have been an exciting match. They have some exceptional players like Coloccini, Sissoko, Mbemba and so on.Arsenal was very
poor.Its was a
poor performance from me.The
team continues to look awkward and the manager too the same.Excuse me to say but we pass and
play senselessly at times and it was shown today too.The mental barrier has not been overcome yet.
However they are a pretty
poor team and I liked Serge when he
played for us.
Sanchez / Welbeck Lacazette I want us to
play 4 -3-3 so that we can match Liverpool in the midfield as I don't want us to be overrun.Xhaka can't defend and he should not start this match and if possible all other matches
for the rest of the season.Coquelin's tackles has caused us to score some goals every single season he's been here and I think we've missed that this season.I just don't know why he's been left on the bench because if paired with the right partner can be used in a very defensive sense to great effect. Our
team is so
poor tactically.
Qualities: Giroud - Hold up (but not against top defenders Tery, Cahil, etc), short pass, hard working,
team player, defensive duties (set - pieces), injuries Benteke - Hold up, short pass, better dribbler, long shots, finishing, positioning, defensive duties (set - pieces), can
play with his back to the goal and also drop deep and face the goal when marked weakness: Giroud - very slow, easily marked,
poor finishing (not wc finisher), technique Benteke - injuries, not a hard worker If you look the stats
for the since 2012/2013, they have almost similar records except that Benteke scored like total of 19 goals (correct me if I'm wrong) in his 1st season and also have a decent record against top
teams, keep in mind he
plays for AstonVilla not Arsenal where you get much more chances and better players around.
I can remember as a child my father taking my to see Stoke City who always out sang the away
teams and the passion flowed through to their players, what's happend to Arsenal, what was the quote from Roy Keane Our club is in a downfall last nights Ossian average Gibbs -
plays like a winger bel - looked out of his depth Mert NOT GOOD ENOUGH Kos can't
play both Cb on his own Le coq found wanting in possession Welbeck 4th choice Utd
plays ever week
for us, says it all Sanchez
poor last night tries to do too much Santii - felt sorry
for him, tried, kept getting pulled back and no movement in front of him Ozil 1/2 things either he doesn't suit the premier or doesn't suit wenger approach GIroud not good enough no where near stevie wonder could see that And finally wenger 10 years ago ahead of his time, now NO PASSION, NO TACTICS, NO FEAR FACTOR, = no job
I think Giroud Is a ok forward he as come a far way and I think he will get there my problem is how long he will take he had a bad game we all have bad days at work I can't quite say the say
for Ozil (yes he
played through the middle) I think we should sell him and call it a lost he is very very
poor since he became a arsenal player and this is where maurinho will always get my respect because he couldn't be
playing like that in a maurinho
team.
Playing a depleted LeBron - lead
team in the second round was the best - case scenario
for the Bulls, and a piss -
poor defensive game plan from a coach known
for his defensive «genius» cost them.
Poor David Ospina has been resigned to being Arsenal's Cup keeper
for the last couple of seasons, but surely a stopper of his quality should be looking to
play for a top
team every week and he will probably try to engineer a move away this summer.
Despite
playing poor for most of the season and having a worse manager and
team on paper than City we still won silverware.
