Vote shares for the four biggest parties remain unchanged since last week, with the Tories on 30 %, Labour on 29 %, UKIP on 16 % and the Liberal Democrats holding on to their 10 %, a result which party president Tim Farron joked was causing champagne corks to
pop at Lib Dem HQ last week.
And though Clegg had a carefully choreographed
pop at the Tories yesterday, the truth is the
Lib Dems vote with the Tories day after day.
