First off, when you
open a
jar of baby food, make sure the safety button in the lid actually
pops open, or that the foil or plastic seal is intact before you crack it.

jar, always check that the vacuum seal has not been
popped and listen for the slight whoosh of air entering as you
open the lid.
Keep in mind that liquids tend to expand in the freezer, potentially cracking the
